These are rubbish. Mouth piece is too small and air flow is restricted, so water comes out quite slowly.
I mean…it’s $10, and it isn’t being sold as a high-flow sports bottle
Perhaps your expectations were set too high.
Not at all. You literally can’t get enough air through the mouthpiece to have a flow of water comparable to a Mount Franklin bottle. It wasn’t unusable, but it wasn’t far off.
I don’t recommend Eastman Tritan. Look up how it got approved and the way they tried to destroy someone who questioned their dubious testing methods.
Can you provide a link?
Bloody hell, after reading that I'm considering just throwing out all plastic bottles in my house and switching our tupperware over to glass, currently half half plastic glass.
Ta for sharing.

They don't happen to have a side hustle running a submersible to the Titanic do they?
Should've gone to Specsavers 🙄
What would you recommend instead?
Interesting new product; a hydration bottle
I wouldn't recommonded this bottle, reason being, if you forget to put the lock on, and button would easily be push opened in your bag without knowing, and half a bottle of water would spill out. lucky it was water that i was using it for and not sugary drinks.
What do you recommonded insteaded?
i would recommend a sistema bottle, just wait for half price at woolies or Coles
My new work water bottle. Thanks OP
Alot of negative comments here on this item.
Why aren't you guys negging this deal then.Give a fair representation to the community of both pros and cons. otherwise on the surface its showing this is a good deal with all the upvotes.
Because it's not a shit deal.
It's a good deal, but not a good water bottle for whingers and idiots. I've got a few of these I use for sport, the gym, road/fishing trips, etc, they're fine for a $10 drink bottle, they're relatively strong (I throw them around a bit), and they last a while. You can't really neg a deal because you forgot to put the clip on the bottle once, or because you can't chug the entire contents in 5 seconds.
I use this for the gym. It holds water so mission achieved.

Feel Great 👍🏻
My kids (6 and 9) both love this bottle
My son had a coupe of this bottle in the last years. The only problem is that the clip outside is always missing, then he can't use the bottle again.
What clip outside?
Sorry about the confusion. I mean the metal locking ring around the push button. It is not a loop hook and can be removed from the bottle. So for my son (9 yrs old), it was always missing eventually. Without this locking ring, the bottle will be open if the push button is accidently pressed when it is in the bag.
ah ok thanks for clarification. does your son pull it out, or does it fall off by itself?
@andresampras: Fall off by itself. The locking ring is not tight.
@fornever: Just FYI, I bought Ion8 bottle last year and the locking ring is much secured.
I have this one, I like it. Easy to clean, simple design. The locking bit is handy if you put fizzy electrolytes etc in. Never had an issue with it opening unexpectedly but I always carry it vertically on the side of my backpack, possibly a problem if it's in with your gym gear.
You can get contigo 800ml ones from Victoria's basement for same price if not cheaper. https://www.victoriasbasement.com.au/?s=Contigo&post_type=pr…
Good for kids these ones
