Welcome to the ultimate guide of Xbox Game Pass subscriptions!

IMPORTANT UPDATE 26 JULY 2023:

OlduBil: "Transfers from foreign bank accounts to our bank accounts in Turkey are not possible".

  • OlduBil is no longer accepting deposits/transfers from foreign bank accounts. Please DO NOT make any transfers into OlduBil (i.e. your Türkiye Mastercard) until further notice!

  • If you already have the funds in OlduBil from a previous transfer, you are free to use it for anything. For those wanting to top up your Türkiye Mastercard, please DO NOT initiate any transfers into OlduBil from Wise or Revolut until I have a new update

  • This deal is expired and is effectively over at this point in time. Every transfer done is at your own risk!

18/07/23: OlduBil has increased their top-up fees to 9.3% (up from 6.25%) stating "Dear customer, our global operations cost increased due to high inflation rate in Turkish Lira. In order to continue the service we provide you we had to change our top-up commission to 9,3%. We appreciate your understanding and support."

Updates:

  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Turkish Lira have crashed even more, so I've corrected all prices in this guide!
  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Fixed the incorrect plan total amount, thanks to @6wolfy9
  • 27/06/23 1:30pm - Due to the sudden and large number of transfers from you guys, Wise is now giving a transfer date of 3rd July. Please avoid Wise if you can and go the Revolut route. I can confirm Revolut transfers are much faster within minutes (or hours at the latest). For those who have already initiated a transfer via Wise, feel free to cancel the transfer (or let it send anyway in case you want to buy cheap Turkey products and services or sign up to other cheap Turkey subs) and go to Revolut.
  • 28/06/23 1:00pm - Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer. - thanks to @netsurfer
  • 03/07/23 2:00am - Edited method, I'm so sorry for making all of you pay for an extra month for no reason for the 36 months plan. Please forgive me.
  • 04/07/23 6:30pm - Microsoft must have caught on, and are blocking OlduBil Virtual cards due to security issues (good fraud prevention). This is an easy fix, and THIS DEAL IS STILL WELL AND ALIVE! Here's what you need to do:
    • Log on microsoft, then go to Contact Us. Click "Contact us" to bring up the 'Contact us' window. For the first dropdown field "What are you having trouble with", select "Subscriptions and Billing". For the second dropdown field "What's the issue", select "I need help purchasing content". For the third field "Describe your issue", man up and say something. Click "Next" > "See contact options" > "Chat online" then you'll be connected with an agent instantly. Tell them you are not able to add your credit card and ask if there's a problem on your MS account. If they ask ridiculous questions, pretend it's all working fine and start a new chat.

Credits to @Scrooge McDeal, who suggested I make a guide on this awesome ALL TIME LOW deal! And you probably know me by now - if I make a guide, best believe it's gonna be good (let me know if someone else can do it better pls). Like Netflix and Disney Plus and literally every guide I've made, I spent a chunk of money out of generosity to test the current validity of this method (I tested transfers from Wise into OlduBil) as well as annotating screenshots throughout the sign-up process (see screenshots in the instructions section). From this testing, I believe this opens a new doorway to a variety of insane deals and prices we weren't able to previously obtain. Please show some love and any comments, concerns, suggestions or feedback are welcome :)

Modern problems require modern solutions. Like Youtube, Netflix, Discord, Google One, Microsoft 365, relocating (virtually of course) to Turkey is usually the best option, with some methods saving hundreds or thousands of dollars each year added up.

The processes below are very easy, just take it slow and you'll get there! Just remember you'll be saving hundreds at the end of the day. The 14 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺374,94 TL ($21.64 AUD, or $1.55/mth) and the 36 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺1034,72 TL ($59.68 AUD, or $1.66/mth). Note that despite the long term 36 month plan has a higher $/mth, it works out cheaper because if you signed up to 14 months, you'll be paying almost 3 times higher if you want to extend at the end of the 14th month.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • No VPN required
  • You must have no current subscriptions

Part 2a - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Wise (App or Web)

Wise fee: ~A$2.13, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Log in or create an account on Wise. You can use the Wise website, or the Wise app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

  2. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account via PayID (instant, no fee), POLi (instant, $1.18 AUD fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (business days only, no fee).

  3. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, click onto "Australian Dollar", then "Convert", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "continue" then "convert". Wise charges a 1.07% fee for AUD-TRY conversions.

  4. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, click onto "Turkish Lira", then "Send", then select "Same currency". Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Wise charges a ₺24.34 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). Click "continue", then "New contact", then "Someone else". On this page, leave the "their email" box empty, and tick "I know their bank details". For the "Full name of the account holder" field, type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and for the "IBAN" field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. Continue and in the "Review transfer details" section (see screenshot), double check everything is correct and then for the "Reference for TURK" field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Tick the confirmation box and then "Confirm and send". This transfer will only be initiated during normal Turkey business hours and takes around 10 minutes on Wise's end. My transfer took 2 hours to land into my OlduBil account.

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

Part 2b - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Revolut (App only)

Revolut fee: ~A$1.79, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Download the Revolut app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) if you don't already have it installed.

  2. Open the app and log in or create an account (if you don't have it already).

  3. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account via a debit/credit card (instant, no fee), Apple Pay (instant, no fee), Google Pay (instant, no fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (usually instant, no fee).

  4. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, select "Australian Dollar", then "Exchange", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "Review order" then "Sell AUD for TRY". Revolut charges no fee for currency conversions.

  5. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, go to the buttom tabs of the app and click onto "Transfer", then "+ New" (top right corner), then select "Send International". Scroll down and select "Türkiye" as the destination. Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Revolut charges a ₺30.15 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). For the transer method, select "Bank Account" (this is probably default anyway). For the Reference field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Click "Continue", then on the "Who to pay" page, tap "+ New" (top right corner). Select the "Business" tab. For the IBAN field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the BIC/SWIFT field, type in the BIC code you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the "Company name", type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and ignore the email field. Press "Add the recipient" then on the following page, enter the VakıfBank address (the one from Part 1 Step 3) and review the transfer and estimated arrival, then send it off to Turkey :))

    HELP POINT using Aktifbank: Screenshots of the process for step 5 in the following order: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9)

HELP POINT using VakıfBank: TBC but very similar to Aktifbank (just different bank information) see above screenshots for process

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

          • @Hank: Ok thanks …its still not working with UK mobile numbers. Someones pulled the plug…

Hello everyone, sorry if I'm absent but from Monday I'll be back at full speed to find a trick So if I understand correctly currently with wise there are no problems to load OlduBil but only those who have Revolut. Right ?!

    • None have worked for me…revolut wont let you use certain IBMS and it fails. I send dome funds from wise Monday and still havne't shown up in oldubill
Some have said that wise worked for them.

    • Yup, Revolut is declining when trying to send money to Oldubil, which was working a few days earlier.

  • Has anyone encountered issues with logging into Fups after purchasing a Fups card from Plati Market? I got an emailed from Fups with a code to reset my password a couple hours after I added the Fups card I bought to my account. Now I can’t log into my account or reset my password. Seems like my account’s been stolen

    • -2

From what I could understand. When you log out of fups you lose everything, money and bank account

      • How is that even legal lol

      • But I didn’t log out. I was kicked out of my account because someone was trying to change my password. But either way from what I know, we can reset our password with just the card info. I was trying to do that but it wouldn’t let me either.

        • Yikes, thanks for the heads up, hope it works out.

        • Have you tried contacting FUPS support for help to reaccess your account? Tell them that you have lost access to your account (possibly due to being stolen/hacked) and need to change your mobile number as you don't have it anymore. They can probably verify it is your account using your email address or by some other method.

If FUPS support is willing to update the mobile number for your account, you should be able to go through a re-verification process with a new temp Turkey mobile number to login again.

          • @Hank: I’ve emailed them. Still waiting for a reply. Hopefully they’ll be able to fix it. I just thought the card I bought might be the reason why I’m experiencing this. I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same problem.

  • Just did another transfer in record time. Revolut > Fups > Oldubil in a little over 2 hours.

    • -1

Can you explain and teach me how to use Fups?

      • would like to know as well

    • I am not able to topup Oldubil with FUPS card. I don't get the 3d Secure validation on the FUPS app. I do get a notification saying that there is a transaction, but I cannot seem to accept it. Anybody? The notification on the FUPS app has a padlock on it.

      • +1

Go to your app settings on your phone and enable push notifications for FUPS app. Then try again and you should get a notification to approve.

      • So, I downloaded Fups and how do I register? Every time I put my phone number (Italian) it's not good. How do I register

        • I followed Hank's post and used PingMe, Turkish number

          • +2

@beantown: People need to actually read the instructions above.

            • @Cineaste: Hanks post is only transposed from the hotukdeals page that's more indepth. There's a few steps in his post where there is some assumed knowledge or missing info. There probably needs to be a full write up as a whole forum post with step by step guide.

          • @beantown: Could you send me the link of your post please? @Hank @beantown

  • Anyone here use Plati.market to deposit into their Oldubil card? If so, which seller did you use?
    Cheers

    • I used this one: https://plati.io/itm/fups-card-tl-turkish-card-for-steam-psn…

They did have PayPal as an option earlier today and can confirm the card 100% works. But PayPal appears to be missing from the options now.

      • Cheers for that,

But I'd prefer one that can deposit into an already created oldubil account.

Was looking at this one but not sure.

        https://plati.io/itm/oldubil-papara-ozan-ininal-fups-repleni…

        • Buy a Fups card on that site and you're set for good.

          • @Cineaste: What's the reason people are buying Fups card on that site instead of just getting it from the Fups app itself? Is it to bypass something?

            • +1

@low-ki: You can't get it from within Fups without a Turkish ID.

        • +1

Yeah that's what I do with it. What I meant by Paypal is the option for purchasing the card from Plati market. I would only buy from plati with the protection of paypal. Once you have the card and link it to FUPS you can deposit directly into Oldubil easily.

          • @stumbows: If you pay using PayPal it’s around 4 times more expensive though rather than using crypto or something else

            • @Yaas: Yeah but worth it for the piece of mind.

              • @stumbows: I used bitcoin it’s a third of the price and still secure

                • +2

@Yaas: It's not the security of the transfer but the fact that PayPal will guarantee your purchase. Bitcoin however is not guaranteed.

                • @Yaas: Did you buy bitcoin using binance? What's the best way to get the lowest fee?

  • Well, that's annoying.

3 years worth of game pass ultimate on both my son and my account expired today. I think I paid about $100ea for the 3 years. Dammit.

    • lol, Im in the same boat.

  • Does anyone know whether purchasing DLC through the TR Xbox Store will transfer through to a game on my AU gamepass? looking at getting the starfield & forza early access premium upgrade thingys.

    • Yes, I have purchased DLC multiple times and works fine in AU

    • +1

+1 from me too. Even works on in game currency that can be purchased via the store like Fortnite v-bucks or shark cards in GTA.

  • Might be a low iq question but is there any way a seller from plati.market that can top up an already created oldubil card be able to steal the card info and make purchases for themselves?

Cause with oldubil top up, the seller only requires the card number, they don't need the expiration date nor the CVV number.

Only asking cause I cbf having to create and use fups to be able to transfer funds into oldubil.

    • +1

They'll need the exp date and cvv of your oldubil card to buy things anyway.

    • +1

All went well with the Oldubil top up. Got my funds within a few hours. This is the seller that I used - https://plati.io/itm/top-up-of-oldubil-ozan-card-without-com…

      • Is plati.io just a marketplace?

See other cheap listings for otber software, chatgpt for example

        • Yea it is, I just went with the one that had the most sales & reviews. Have done 3 transactions with them and have received funds same day.

          • @low-ki: Which payment method did you choose?

            • @Nedkellyinthebush: Sent via USDT. But just a heads up the mark-up for their services is a shit ton, which is why I stopped using it and just gave in to creating a FUPS card.

  • I set up fups and sent some money over from revolut using international transfer. Waiting for it to show up in fups.

    • How did you manage to send from Revolut? Is your Revolut account UK/EU based? For AU Revolut accounts we don’t have an option to transfer TRY via card, but rather bank transfer for me so stuck with it :/

      • you send via international transfer, details a couple posts down

  • Funds cleared in fups and sent to oldubil which was instant using the method posted a page back.
Use oldubil to deposit money from the fups card.

  • When trying to put my FUPS debit card details on Revolut to transfer money it FUPS it says this bank does not support card transfers to this card. Does anyone know why?

    • +2

yeah it wont work, you have to do an international transfer
this is from a post a couple of pages back from Hank

I encountered the same issue with Revolut, as they appear to not like transferring directly to FUPS card for some reason. To get around this you need to do a international bank transfer to the linked account of the FUPS card, rather than directly to card itself. The details for the bank transfer can be found in FUPS app by going to:
Topup button > Topup From Bank Account > Other

Below are the bank transfer details for convenience (note that the address details are missing from the FUPS app):
      VakifBank
      IBAN: TR570001500158007312667702
      BIC / SWIFT: TVBATR2A
Company Name: LYDİANS ELEKTRONİK PARA VE ÖDEME HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ

      RECIPIENT ADDRESS:
      Street and number:
Finanskent Mah. Finans Cad. Sarphan Finanspark
      A Blok Kat 8
      ZIP Code: 34760
      Location/City:Istanbul

Also, make sure to use the linked account number of FUPS card in the description section during transfer (rather than the FUPS card number).

      • Thanks so much, lets hope it goes through

      • Hello I was looking for this bank from the list on OlduBil but it is not there. Why?

        • This is to transfer into FUPS.
from there you send to oldubil.

      • Hey mate, just curious how long it took to show up in FUPS? I performed a transfer earlier today (3 hours) probably jumping the gun but can't see it in FUPS yet.

Thanks for the info also :)

  • Im having an issue upgrading gold to game pass ultimate. I have 12 months gold but it will only give me 9 months game pass ultimate when I go to upgrade.

    • Hey mate did you end up sorting this out? I’m having a similar problem, I purchased 9 months but when I purchased the 1 month ultimate it only converted 6 months.

  • After several attempts well I think I just wasted time and money. Has anyone managed to top up the OlduBil account? If yes how?

    • +1

It can be time consuming, I spent most of the weekend getting no OTP from Oldubil for some reason and then one morning it came through, maybe they just don't do AU nights.

There's the FUPS to Oldubil guide someone linked earlier, found it last night and it's been a big help.

      • I know this guide, but if I'm not mistaken there is the possibility to upload OlduBil via binance P2P Could you help me get the ping.me app working? If I'm not mistaken for Fups you need a digital identity card or passport, things I don't have

        • I'm still trying to work through this myself since loading from Revolut isn't working anymore.

        • +1

@dothack I think you need to read that guide more carefully. It says FUPS doesn't need a digitial identity card or passport unless you want to go over the 2750 TRY per month limit. It also specifically explains how to use the PingMe app.

  • Hey guys, does anybody know if transferring via wise using Garanti Bankasi still works? I sent money on sunday and Wise said they have sent it at 4pm monday, but I have still not received it in my oldubil account. ~5:23pm, does anybody know if im making a mistake or i have to wait longer?

    • didnt work for me, sent some on the 14th and nothings has shown up even though wise says its sent.
Waiting for it to come back to wise hopefully/
I ended up using the FUPS methos and that worked within 4 hours.

  • Has anyone transferred funds from Wise > Fups? All I'm seeing is Revolut > Fups.

As I'm getting an error saying Wise doesn't accept payments to this recipient.

    • +1

Yea, wise doesn't work. Revolut is fine.

      • I'm assuming I'll be able to transfer funds from Wise > Revolut?

        • +1

You can transfer the funds from your wise account through your Wise visa card to Revolut account.

      • Are you able to transfer money from Revolut to OlduBil? If so how?

  • Just added my card to FUPS but I can’t transfer using Revolut. If I try to pay using the card number it says the card isn’t supported. I tried paying using a link created in the FUPS app and I get an error saying “you can only use domestic cards”

    Anybody else getting this?

    • Yes, this is a known issue. Refer to previous comments for instructions on how to transfer from Revolut > FUPS using an international transfer to the card's linked account.

  • God damnit I'm stupid.

I just transferred over $26aud to buy the starfield upgrade, completely missed the massive update in the first post that it's not working anymore, ffs.

    • Saaaame bro, it sucks, I just hope they refund it so I don't have to do a chargeback

    • +2

It will get refunded after a few days.

      • That gives me peace of mind, thanks mate!

      • Thanks for that, once it's refunded, how do i go about going from Wise -> OlduBil now?

        • +1

The new method is to use FUPS now,
You can try wise to oldubil using granati bank, a poster earlier said his worked a couple of weeks back, but it didnt work for me.
FUPS has worked for me did one yesterday and another a couple days back.

          • @bbourizk: Can I do Wise -> FUPS? Or should I just send it back to my bank account after it gets refunded?

            • +1

@SuBw00FeR: I did revolut to fups as I had Liras in there when it got refunded.
              Not sure if wise works.

              • @bbourizk: No worries, thanks for the info! Sounds like I should be able to :)

                • @SuBw00FeR: Give it a try,,,worse than can happen is you get the money refunded

  • does this still work for a new user?

  • -4

If I convert to the ultimate subscription, they detract the number of days from my pre-paid gold months. It’s not like the author of the post says, the subscription doesn’t simply get converted. If it did before I don’t know, but now it doesn’t

    • -4

This plus the price hikes bring the overall price per month waaaay higher than when the deal was originally posted

      • +2

That is why the deal is marked as expired

  • Anyone else not able to purchase from the Xbox store both on console and website using the oldubil virtual card? last purchase worked in july but no longer working. getting error saying, "the region where your payment option is issued must match your store region."

  • Hello, I hope someone can help me with my oldubill top-up. I've sent two transfers from my wise account to oldubill but none of them have been added to my card. I was able to top-up my account twice before these last two but now I don't know why they're not working. I'm thinking about contacting them by email but I don't know if I should send them the receipt that Wise gives me cause I don't know if Oldubill will block my account or something

    • Did you add your card number in the reference section when you transferred money from wise?

      • Yes I did

        • +1

Just send them an email. I did it three times (first two in English, the last one in Turkish using Google Translate lol). They responded within a few hours and the money went in almost immediately after that.

They will ask you to provide the Oldubil card number, your phone number, and screenshot of the receipt (they will not click on Wise's receipt URL or the PDF file, they prefer inline image). But that would be all.

  • Sorry to ask, I have the funds in FUPS, but can't find instruction on how to get it from FUPS to Oldubil? I noticed if I do request card, it says to enter your identification and needs an ID number. I looked at QR Code transfers as well and it's all asking to Upgrade.

    Thanks

  • I am unable to transfer my TRY from my FUPS account to Oldubil

I tried transferring straight from Oldubill app through, My Wallet >> Deposit Money >> Deposit via Credit/Debit Card. However, when trying to do the 3D Secure Verification with FUPS through the validation method of "iPhone-IOS" I get the error of "Unfortunately, the time allowed to confirm this transaction has expired". If I click off the error and just click confirm on FUPS. It says approved and goes through. Then throws me back to the previous screen saying "Your 3D Secure Transaction has not been confirmed".

I followed the guide by "joeydeacon" from here FUPS Guide

    • I've encountered that same issue too. I sometimes have to re-attempt the verification 2-3 times before it works.
