yeah, true, but for the $3.38 difference, you are covered by steam's buyer protection and returns. small price to pay for peace of mind on this. Plus you get some steam shop points.

The link provided is for Steam, no additional launcher. You are just buying the key through a (reputable in this instance) third party, I have bought many discounted games this way and they all were added/activated in steam.

Also as for refunds. Fanatical has a refund policy. Instant refund if the Steam key hadn't yet been revealed. Or refund if the key had been revealed but there's a technical issue with the game.

I really wish they'd port games 1-3 to PC, Naughty Dog claim they'll never do it because the graphics don't hold up though.
Don't hold up? Neither does the first Half-Life, but it's still a great game to play. I hope they remaster them then.
I just played through Uncharted 2 (and the beginning of 3) via Nathan Drake Collection (1080p60) on PS5 over the weekend and I’m astounded how good they look!
The art direction alone elevates them above the majority of PS4/5 era games, and there was nothing wrong with the image output at all.
Yeah, I reckon they're full of it, more likely porting the PS4 remake is too hard. If they can remake it for PS4 they can do it for PS5/PC. Could be demand wasn't there for Legacy of Thieves though.
I've played it at 4K on RPCS3, looks really good and that's without the enhancements of the Nathan Drake Collection.
Using discs or downloading them from the store? If they've done some remastering on the old ones, I'd have to get it from the store for better graphics maybe.
They remastered the PS3 games for the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4 (sorry if I'm stating the obvious). They were 1080p60 non-HDR and never received a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch, but honestly they looked higher res and definitely HDR to me over the weekend.
It's making me wonder if the regular PS5 has inherited some kind of upscaling, possibly related to the release of the Pro (which did get some ML upscaling for PS4) and Auto-HDR. I can pick the difference between 1080p and 4K very easily on other games.
Disc and digital can be had for about a tenner. They gave digital away for free during the Covid 'Play at Home' initiative so check your library.

Yeah, plays great. Bought it last week and been enjoying Thief's End. Some great action scenes.
1c more for DRM free download copies. Nice deal. Worth the extra cent in my opinion.
I have completed this on PC and it is a pretty ordinary port. Great game so I put up with the unoptimised performance issues.
Cheaper at Fanatical for $26.60.
