A bottle of Red Island Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 100% natural. Every drop inside comes from the freshest, top quality olives grown on Australian groves by Australian farmers. For the best and freshest flavour, we cold press without using any heat chemicals. Not only does our Extra Virgin Olive Oil taste better and fresher this way, it's healthier too, ensuring it retains more helpful antioxidants and healthy unsaturated fats.

Worth noting that Cobram is a 750ml bottle so it comes out to $12 per litre.
Better oil, though
according to?
@Hasbulla: I believe it cooks and smells better especially with crumbed chicken tenders etc
Now we use an air fryer we need stuff all oil…
@lost in transit: I don’t think crumbed chicken tenders is a good olive oil test. Neutral oils might give you more of what you’re looking for
@Hasbulla: Thanks mate but they come out the best in the air fryer with little oil…
Cheers 👍
Cobram own Red Island
@Irishness: Duff, Duff Lite.
Better oil, though
How is it better ?
We use Red Island for cooking. Cobram for finishing.
@murphinator69: Is there any actual difference?
@demiurge: I believe Cobram scored better than Red Island in a choice test a few years back.
@demiurge: There's a richer flavour in the Cobram, especially the purple and dark green ones. Red Island is pretty good though.
If you want to dunk bread into olive oil, I'd go Cobram. If you want to pan fry something, Red Island is perfect.
also worth nothing that both Cobram and Red Island are rated as 100% Olive oil.
Unlike many of the other so called Olive Oil brands.
Thanks mate, will be staying up for this.
According to some quick searching online, Cobram Estate own Red Island. Cobram is the more premium of the two.
I'm still patiently waiting for Red Island 3L at half price, as offered last year at Coles and at Woolworths.
Cobram Estate is currently $9 at Coles
