    Been a few times and what we find is there's rarely any cakes available for purchase, it's all utensils and icing and whatnot, and stalls hawking MLMs

        It's moreso for people wanting to make visually interesting cakes to post on social media.

        For me the highlight is the designer cake displays for their competition, there are many interesting ones to look at.

        It really is a good show to go for free only, to spend maybe half an hour strolling through and taking photos of the cakes. It's not an all-day activity.
