Went to bunnings to buy a shower screen plastic flappy bit. The joint is half empty because they are preparing to move. Didn't get the plastic flappy bit.
Outdoor pots must be too bulky to move and everything is marked down to about 20% of rrp
[VIC] 80% off RRP Outdoor Pots @ Bunnings (Northland)

Wish Masters was still alive to take that spot. It was such a good competition. Shame they never invested in knowledgable customer service and product range.
They moved a bunch of dick smith management straight into management of hardware stores like they'd know what the (profanity) they were doing. Dick smith was already going through its own crisis losing experienced staff left right and centre due to micromanaging power tripping ex-army kind of middle management figures that also had no idea what the (profanity) they were doing.
Great idea on paper, should have succeeded, but poorly executed.

I was told that the local council bought back the land from Bunnings as part of some supposed Darebin Creek Beautification Project or something along those lines. I don't think it will be long before it's re-zoned and becomes a high-rise housing complex.
move to Bell Street? I thought that will be a new one.
It's a few 100 metres away.
alas, the elusive flappy bits
Haha. OP reads like a Nathan W. Pyle comic!
any clues what business will move in after Bunnings is gone?
