Shows as $160 off an RRP of $509.99 but some retailers show even crazier RRP to begin with.
Duplex printing duplex scanning is great to begin with, at this price.

Isn't that a lot for a monochrome printer?
Lexmark 55B6000 Genuine MS331 / MS431 / MX431 Black Toner Cartridge - 3,000 pages
$171.00
Lexmark 55B6H00 Genuine MS331 / MS431 / MX431 Black High Yield Toner Cartridge - 15,000 pages
$618.00
this is a quasi small workgroup printer
they are saying "up to 8,000pg a month"
the 1yr warranty is kind of a bag of shit c.o. Lexmark
Is there any particular reason you would go with genuine cartridges? I started going non genuine because I could buy 6 toner carts and a drum for 50% of a single genuine brother cartridge. Haven't had an issue yet.
I use those on a Samsung years ago, it was really bad.
This time round I am just going to get work to order original and pay for me.
Bad deal compare to this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/637476.
It was perfect tinning with pandemic and WFH. Can'r complain for that price with duplex color scan and print not to mention I did not pay for it.
So this deal is only Mono but If you dont need colour printing then its ok. I am not sure you can find am alternative in the market at the moment with duplex scan and print in this price range..
Edit:
Just saw Lexmark MC3326I at Canter Com for $389. It same as CX431 (I think). Better deal than this one?
What's even crazier is the cost of toner for it.
