  Canberra is full of bargain-hunters, and giveaways are usually widely publicised because not a lot happens in Canberra otherwise. They are always an absolute shitfight. Bleachers isn't a great bar and doesn't have great food anyway.

  Gotta say I'd consider walking past if I were in the vicinity to check out how busy it is, but if I weren't able to get there early enough to grab a table, I wouldn't bother.
