Hi guys, I have been looking for a cheap copy of Gran Turismo 7 on the last couple of weeks and have just pulled the trigger on this one.
Obviously not the lowest price ever, but it seems like it is the cheapest it has been in a while.

Also, the PS4 version is $49 + delivery at Target via Catch

$69 at JB if people CBF waiting a couple of days for delivery. Got it during the week. It gets boring quick. Should have bought an Xbox for Forza!!!

I had played a lot of Forza Horizon 4 on the Series X but couldn't really get into FH5 purely because it feels like it is just the same in a different map.
I went for Gran Turismo because I wanted to try something different.

      You don't have PSVR2…?

      • -1

I'm not paying a console price to wear some goggles and run into my walls.

      • I got PSVR2 and it is definitely something people need to experience. But….i was ok with horizon and RE village so i got GT7. I dusted off the steering wheel and was ready for action. I got into the training andthe nausea hit me hard!

I do get motion sickness so YMMV but i havent touched the game since. Sort of like when you get Gastro from eating something and cant eat that food again.

Just a warning for anyone with the psvr2 that leans on the motion sickness side.

      • GT7 and PSVR2 was my true "next generation" experience. I'm typically an Xbox player but geeeeez this thing needs to be experienced. I don't think I've played Forza since I got GT7.

I don't get nausea with that game and I find it insanely fun. Strangely enough I did get nausea with Call of the Mountain, but not GT7

        • Sad the Halolense got defunkt.

    • Have you ventured into 'Sport' mode top right of map? There's where it gets proper good!

JB should price match Catch as well.

    • They price matched Amazon. Got it for $53 with $10 perks. Thanks!

  • +2

Regret that I didn't pick the PS5 version up when its $39. And PS store is having similar price atm.

    • +2

Same. I hesitated, and then PSVR2 launched and the GT7 price sky rocketed.

I'm waiting till it gets back to around the $40 mark just out of principle now.

      • Exactly same situation. Call of the mountain is just too tired to play with so wanna try VR racing.

        • Honestly it is worth full price for VR mode. I didn't really like call of the mountain much… But I do enjoy racing games and this one is just so much fun 🙂

          • @MrGareth: Nah can't take it becuz I'm an ozbarginer. Damn!

  • Amazon similar prices, free delivery

  • $77.46 on the PS Store if you’re allergic to discs (or are sharing accounts with someone to make it even cheaper).

  • Can’t you just buy the PS4 version and get a PS5 upgrade?

    • +1

Yes but you need to pay the difference =]

      Researched earlier

      • I see! So it’s not free like the Xbox is.

        • Some game does offer free upgrade actually

  • This has a lot of negative user reviews on Metacritic. Is the game any better compared to back in March?

    • +1

The negative user reviews on Metacritic are purely from early days soon after launch where the in game credits were ridiculous. That has all been resolved now, and the game has had monthly FREE content drops and updates. It's a bloody good game now.
The AI in single player is crap, but most people keen on racing games will play online. Just like most people who are into First Person Shooters are more keen to play multiplayer online.
Get it, get good, learn to drive with TCS off entirely if you want good lap times, get into 'SPORT' mode, and if you get good enough you can find yourself being flown to placed like Singapore, Monaco and the Red Bull Hanger for World Finals.
Not to mention, you could even win a medal in the Olympics as Gran Turismo is the official eSport racing game of the Olympic eSeries.
