This came at a perfect time just when my Spintel 6 months discount has ended. I switch providers everytime the new customer discount ends. Came to $14.90 for first month.

No idea about expiry but I imagine pretty soon because the OBS30 code just got expired.

    WTF! The deal you had linked to had been incorrectly marked as expired.

    You won't find your unique referral code on the dashboard.
    You can call up, and they might be able to tell you.
    They randomly revoke and/or regenerate the code, but won't tell you about it via email.

    Furthermore, they don't seem to be honouring the referral for the referrer.
    Only the referees are receiving the $25 upfront discount when they sign up using your valid code.

    I called up to complain about this, but their CSR I had on the phone was completely useless.

      Yeah they didn't honour my referral code. Heaps of others complained about it at the same time when I signed up. They don't care.

    I've only been with this mob for 3 months and I'm out, horrible speeds at night FTTP. There's a reason it's cheap, I've been with quite a few providers and this is the first ive had issues with, and wouldn't touch again.

    stay away from those Vocus RSP, terrible speed in the evening and weekend.

  • To be fair you will have to try it out yourself if the CVC gragh is not available. Personally I have been having no issues with MORE/Tangerine which are all Vocus RSPs. Location, Epping NSW

  • Going to give Tangerine a try. Hopefully the OBS20 applied as showed on sign up but not on last page

    Coming from exetel so will see if I notice significant difference

    Thanks. Just signed up using one of the codes.
    Spintel annoyed me as they couldn't offer me the rate they had advertised on their website so left. $20 for the 1st month and then 5 months of $44 is worth it.

        Where do i find that? I selected the plan after checking my address, BYO modem and then it would ask to signup, put email and personal details and then final page where it would ask for connwction date, it asks there Do you have an agent code?

        What am i missing?

        • Usually I see it in the screen before but sometimes it doesn't pop up properly unless you're on a full screen laptop/full window

    I'm switching from More. The More retention person offered me a life-time 20% off to retain me. After I said your sister company Tangerine gives 30% off instead so no thanks, he asked me to put in his agent code. I asked how it would help me, to which he said he would "personally oversees the transition". BS?

      • It accepts the agent code but it doesn't change the final check-out price. I feel the retention person is just wanting me to give him points on whatever performance system they use.

        I don't know if I'm feeling generous. He wasn't able to retain me on More, and he didn't help me with anything on Tangerine (including not helping me with this $25 promo!!!).

  • Tangerine support is Crap, they also took ages to connect (not connected within 7 days+ I think) NBN last time I had NBN before belong long time ago.

  • Absolutely terrible. On HFC network on 100 plan and it was slow with daily dropouts and big latency. I don't even play any games. We're just talking web browsing and occasional music/video streaming. Was only with them 4 months. Exetel were better on the 25mbps plan. Changed to superloop yesterday so hopefully they're better again.

  • Belong just changed static ip to dynamic ip, since then every second it disconnected and reconnect, I can't do anything need stable connection, really stupid! I just go with Tangerine now. Thanks.
