I've done the hassle of hiring a cleaner from Bunnings but this seems cost effective. Had me googling for cleaning solution now
https://youtu.be/b26BDy_djoM seems Bissell has good shampoo
I have the Bissell Pet Pro, cost quite a bit more than this but it's extremely good. Just have ear protection ready if you get one.
EDIT: Just checked, mine is the Bissell Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner 2066F so maybe a different model to the one you asked about, it was $500. But this one for $180 would be a steal and I'm sure it's good enough.
Love this product, fantastic value for the price
Wonder how this compares to Bissell ProHeat 2X
How good to clean up blood spills?
Best to put a drop sheet down
Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?
Might be worth considering the bigger Hoover unit on special if doing larger areas, its has a bigger tank, different cleaning brushes and comes with upholstery attachments for $120 more.

Can we use them for floor cleaning as well? Couldn’t find more info.
I'm interested in purchasing this machine and shampoo to go with.
Any recommendation for alternative shampoo besides the Hoover one?
Thanks OP..already have a Bissell cordless spot cleaner.. this completes the set ..Bissell unit is excellent if anyone is wondering but it is a spot cleaner.. a whole room carpet cleaner at a decent price is great
Do you think the upholstery cleaner on the bigger hoover clean as well as the bissel spot cleaner? Understand the bissel spot cleaner has the advantage of being a small machine and convenience to pull it out for small cleans.
No idea how well the hoover works..but the Bissell stain eraser turbo works very well for stains but you cannot clean a whole room with it
Which Bissell cordless spot cleaner? We have the Bissell Turbo spot (corded) cleaner and use it so much (toddlers) that I do get sick of hauling it out and cleaning it so often
I do not have toddlers..I use the Bissell very occasionally for stains..predominantly wine if it spills.. for that my cordless Bissell has been a carpet saver..one single spill was worth it ..It is a Bissell stain eraser turbo.. it is an excellent light weight device .the Bissell is a cordless small device.. the hoover is a wired unit and can clean up the whole room.. unlike the Brissell and thats just my use case scenario ..just the hoover may work for you as a spot clean and carpet cleaner..I have a 2 storey house so the Bissell is handy for me ..I have no idea how good or bad the Hoover is though
Thanks OP, ended up getting the slightly upgraded version https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09FQ7QBTS
That looks a lot better design for doing carpets. The ops is more of a rug, small room only machine.
I don't think this can also clear the upholstery?
Godfrey has cheap carpet shampoo - 5l container $50 will last years https://www.godfreys.com.au/chem-carpet-cleansing-5l-clean-u… or https://www.godfreys.com.au/enzyme-carpet-upholstery-5l-clea… for urine, blood and odours
