Probably iRobot's Worst product since the original roomba
This thing is a complete scam and that is why it is bundled with other roombas like the J7 or higher.

This thing is wildly inefficient. Does not clean its designated areas 50% of the time or worse. It will constantly get stuck on things even if you move objects out of its path. It appears to only do marginally well when it is engaged in a linked clean led by a higher tier Roomba. It will also only find its home base about 75% of the time without assistance. iRobot completely gouges you on the cleaning solution price for this thing, and the solution either evaporates or the robot uses too much even on eco settings while still removing the smallest amount of soiling.

I will also put on a tinfoil hat here for a moment and suggest you don't also buy it if you value your …More

Avoid! DO NOT BUY You will be sorry
can't recommend buying the iRobot Braava m6 robot. They don't support it. Mine is less than two years old and the tires are worn out and after much effort I'm lead to believe it's impossible to get replacements. There is no time frame when or if they will be available. They're not even listed on their web site. They do have them in Australia iRobot website (part number 4650146 braava replacement wheel kit) but they do not ship internationally. They still make this robot but will not sell you wheels for it if yours wear out. The united states needs to establish some consumer protections, if you make an electronics product you should carry basic parts for it for a period of time so we don't keep having to make these companies rich buying and throwing away products they refuse …More

I Really Wanted to Like it…
I was looking to buy a combination vacuum and mop with self-emptying tower/charging base but decided to go with this one since I already had an iRobot vacuum (that I'm very happy with) and the app, so I wouldn't have to download a different app for a different brand. Sadly, that was the only pro. Even with the cons, I thought I could make it work, but ultimately decided to return it. Truly disappointing.

    Cons
Unlike its vacuum counterpart, if you have floor track/dividers, it won't make it across unless you have the kind that mesh evenly with your floor. This in turn messes up the mapping because you have to pick it up and do all of your different areas of floors separately. I think this also affected the mop being able to find the home base, because it never could find its …More

  • My two cents… we’ve had this for about 4yrs. Very busy house and it’s been an absolute lifesaver. We have the i7 vacuum go out first and this mops after. Rarely does it not work as it’s supposed to. If it broke down, I’d buy another straight away. I think the vac seems to get worse and worse thought no matter how many times I clean the sensors.

  • How does this compare to the Roborock S5 Max? If anyone could offer the S5 Max at $499 I would buy that… Seems like lots of mixed reviews on every other brand except Roborocks who get a consistently high rating….

    • This doesn't vac

Bit worried about imports from northern hemisphere as they clean clockwise direction
While proper southern hemisphere ones clean counterclockwise

    • That's a bloody outrage, it is! I'm going to take this all the way to the Prime Minister

    • I'm going to make a collect call to a random phone number in the US to validate this

  • Price is now fixed

  • I will add my positive experience.

I’ve had one of these since it was introduced and it works great. Always docks, goes where it’s supposed to and not where it shouldn’t. Cleans well, but this doesn’t mean that you never ever need to do a manual mop. Just the same as robot vacuums don’t mean you forgo ever doing a once over from time to time.

If the dock is located according to the guidelines, and the unit is kept clean according to the instructions, you shouldn’t have any issues. It takes a few runs to map the area, then your set. You also definitely want to get a washable, reusable mopping pad and rotate them.

In my experience a dedicated robot mop, designed for that purpose, works far better than the combined units that have to make compromises. Whilst the M6 doesn’t auto clean and empty, this insignificant amount of input means it also is not prone to getting smelly like some of the more automated units.

This is a fantastic price too.
