Looks like a fair spec for the price, a 1650 is still very capable.
If thats 100%ewaste, what else would you give away? What would be better at or even lower than that price point?
I have a GE40 in a drawer at home, another MSI 'gaming blade'. The design was poor; broken hinges, subpar cooling.
Looks like they have learnt little from their past mistakes, I wouldn't go with an MSI again.
3050 for $100 more.

Bargain!
Oof, can't bypass onboard graphics using HDMI or disable Optimus. Speaking of HDMI, version 1.4??
Anyone can recommend me around this price. Willing to go up by $100 or are 5500u laptops worth it?
Thanks
Does anyone know if this is good enough to stream VR? E.g., Half Life Alyx VR.
100% E-waste material. Deserving of the price but if you have even 100$ more get something better* than this pos. Esp pay attention to the part about the hinges. Strongely recommend to go with a prebuilt desktop if budget must be kept to this price. Or really a 'standard' laptop with a decent amd igpu wouldnt fell that far within the gaming performance of this with better build.
*yes even an old nitro 5 or victus 15 from those HN deals are far better
** an msi cyborg that jbhifi is happily selling for 2.8grand have the exact same build as this except differently coloured exterior
