Thought about what else would be cheap coming from Japan. Had to check this and low and behold it's the lowest price according to the camels. Been watching this a long time and finally pulled the trigger. May need to refresh and do other shenanigans to make the right price appear.

Hmmm. Debating what to use for dispensing my OzBargained bulk soy sauce purchases.

Tell me I’m mad since it’s not airtight, but I’m leaning towards a refillable Kikkoman bottle that comes in considerably cheaper and with a starter bottle of soy sauce to get me started…

Likewise using a Lee Kum Kee starter bottle but find the caps cracks over time and those are not drip proof. This means a rim/puddle of soy sauce where you store the starter bottle. But do I want to spend $15 for a bottle to store said bulk purchase soy sauce? $5 is more likely IMO. Lol…

      • Great minds and all that.

Thanks for the insights. If but nothing else, this drip-free receptacle would triple the value of my Lee Kim collection…

      • Same here with the lid issue. Will give this a go, especially for sesame oil, of which all brands seem to have the worst possible lid design ever.

Decant into small Kikkoman bottle from bulk supply. Has pour / drizzle feature of this product built in. Label has a nice aged look after years of use.
Same with Sesame oil into small bottle.
Hardly worth buying a container to do the same. Never had drip or spill issues.

This guy knows how to soy sauce.

    • Stick with the kikkoman. More authentic.

    • I use the Kikkoman, never tried this and intentions of trying it either tbh.

For the non Americans, eg the rest of the world. It's approx 148ml capacity

  • Great. Always wanted to dispense precisely 23.69 ml of soy sauce for my sushi.

Thanks! Also bought the 12oz oil dispwnser

  • Can you use it with oil?

The lid looks exactly the same as the oil one I have so I'd say so.

  • Low and behold

  • Price is showing as $25.85 for me, how did you get it to show as $15.80?

I think this one is actually OOS from Japan or just N/A. I can't get the price using my usual tricks.
