And that will cost you about $300 - 400 more.
Bought the S7 (without the GPS) for $500 after the S8 came out, have been really happy with it so far and don't regret it - at under $400, its an excellent buy.
For anyone moving from Android to iOS, watchOS is a huge improvement too.
I got the one with Cellular version from recent Catch/Amazon deal, slowly moving into Apple Ecosystem, I am liking the feature set the watch brings along. However, I am still undecided which watch do I enjoy more, this or the Galaxy Watch 4 (again bought during the recent sale).
Form factor, more watch like appearance, notifications, watch faces; I quite like these on the Watch 4.
Availability of apps, integration with Health Data, Apple Watch is the preferred choice, and that band changing experience makes it so much easier to customise.
A whole $30 off the ticketed price.
Nah, it is more I think
Near identical to the Series 8 which is $629 though
yes, it's one of the good offer for series 7
You wanna know the time, look at your phone 😂
But you can’t wear your phone on your wrist.
I thought the same as you and told myself I'd never get one of these because why would you need one when you already have your phone but yeah, I freaking love it haha.
I actually use my phone a lot less after getting a smart watch. Allows me to quickly see which notifications I can ignore while being able to attend to important notifications/calls/messages.
It also sucks running with a phone
41mm
Missed the reading part
Wasn't the cellular version around same price recently?
The red S7 41/45mm Cellular was $458 on Amazon recently and I picked up that deal and I'm wearing it right now.
With a case and a strap change, you can hardly see any red anyway so I think that was a better deal but this ain't bad either if you're angling for the 41mm GPS version.
Same, wearing mine now :)
I bought the same one. I thought the cellular vein already included the GPS function, or not?
Yes it does. Cellular is a bit gimped by our greedy telcos it seems. Maybe one day there’ll be a good cheap plan…
Can you use apple watch with android ?
No
You may be able to use it stand alone after setting it up on an iPhone, albeit with limited features
You need an Apple phone to setup the watch and fir managing it.
This or SE 2022?
Always on display on the 7 won it for me. No more having to do wrist turn just to read the time.
Series 7 definitely.
@jimojr, Thank you, bought one.
I’ve got an Apple Watch 5 and this is tempting. By rights I should have another couple of years before I run out of iOS updates so getting the watch 7 is a tad hard to justify.
Still rocking a Series 3 here haha…
If it floats your boat then keep rocking it. I got the man into the Watch 7 from his Series 3 in a previous deal. I, usually, trade in when iOS updates stop.
Still rocking stainless steel series 0 💀
Hats off to you! :)
I’ve got an old iPod you might be interested in.
Really wish they would bring back some normal colours.
What the (profanity) is Midnight? Starlight? Apparently there's a Fleshlight coming soon (or cumming).I am trying to purchase the series 7 green watch, but upon checkout it states "One or more products can't be delivered to your location. Please select pick up instead.". Unfortunately there is no stock within 500km of my address in Perth. Sigh.
Been keeping an eye out for an Apple Watch thanks op. Would the 41mm be too small for a male with average sized wrist ?
I wear a 41 and much prefer the size over the 45. Definitely isn’t so small it looks feminine or anything. Bb
I’m a 5 ft female and I’ve got the 44mm in the Watch 5. For me it is the screen real estate.
Thanks for the reply’s, my analogues are all usually around the 40mm they wear great. But as mentioned wondered if the 41mm screen would be difficult to use. So thank you!
My suggestion is go look at the two watches side by side in one of the stores. Try them on and see what suits you best.
Really tempted, there's barely a difference between the S7 and S8 (besides crash detection). S9 is meant to get a new chip (and better battery life) but besides that there's not much rumoured to be coming with it and it's still 4-5 months away.
