Since the cashrewards one did not include Macbook Pro, i thought i would share this one that does!

Cashback exclusions

These items are not eligible for Cashback:

  • iTunes, iMac (Retina 5k 27-inch), Apple Pro Display XDR, and BOSE products.
  • Trade-in-parts, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, and Apple Developer Programs.
  • The Apple Vision Pro and all accessories.
  • All-new iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4
  • MacBook Air 13” and 15” with M4 chip

We calculate Cashback based on the purchase price, excluding:

      Yeh agree, or even 10% off gift cards which are much more frequent and they are a real guaranteed saving, unlike SB has been recently

          Based on my past experience, this isn’t going to work. It may track initially, but it will eventually be declined, and Apple won’t approve the cashback as it's paid via GC balance.

      It’s excluded on both CR and TCB so I’m guessing they’ve just overlooked it here, in which case it won’t be tracked. I assume this should have had the e added:

        Yes i think so too - but you wouldn’t have a leg to stand on if they didn’t pay :(

        Also seems despite the banner on Shopback saying get the uni offer, this offer is only for the regular Apple Store pricing (not edu store)

    Isn’t this kinda ass? Most things are ineligible for cashback. Prolly the only thing that is not explicitly stated as ineligible and worth buying is the M4 Mac mini.

        Assuming you manage to find some high value giftcards which haven't been tampered. Good luck with that and the hours of your life you'll spend resolving it.

        Ask me how I know - or read about all the others in countless online forums include the Woolies giftcard deal who've suffered the same fate.

          I live next to a woolies and went there this afternoon (around 12pm) and found heaps. Bought $2k and all were fine. It was the new packaging which cannot be tampered with unless you destroy the whole package.

        Can you stack this with the education store or just the main store? If you can do it on the edu store like the Cashrewards then this is the better deal.

      Yep - 100%. Virtually all current product apart from M4 Mac Mini is excluded. Blatant attempt to trick buyers into shopping via cashback site for which nothing will be paid. Overwhelming majority would be better off with no promo and honouring usual 1%-ish cashback…

    Anyone having problems ordering for pick up? Tried two stores and just says can’t process order for pick up and only available for delivery. (Yet both stores have stock)
