Upsized rates 4-10pm AEDT.

Seems to be uncapped and includes the education store (higher rate at the education store - be careful with this). The new M4 MacBooks are not excluded but the list of exclusions is from 21/02/25 so purchase at your own risk (keep screenshots), other cashback deals have excluded the Air anyway so to me there is nothing to lose. See updated product exclusions below.

Valid for the edu AirPods deal too.

Also doesn't exclude payment by gift cards, though in my experience loading the gift cards onto your Apple Account first got around this issue anyway.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Orders purchased from corporate employee stores

  • Trade in parts

  • Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.

  • Purchases via the merchant's mobile app.

  • Purchases that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.

  • GST, other taxes and delivery fees.

  • Fraudulent transactions.

  • Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

      This discussion happened in another deal thread the other day. Unfortunately CR haven’t updated their exclusion list since Feb 21st which was well before the new products were announced.

      Bank on the cashback not being tracked and/or paid if you buy one on the newly announced devices.

        Because topcashback has an updated ineligible products list and only macbook airs are excluded. Macbook pros are included.

    Just in case anyone’s interested - I bought the new Air with free AirPods at the Edu site with 1.3% cashback earlier this week. Cashback for AirPods went through but nothing for the Air.

      Last time (1 month ago) i purchased an Mbook Air for a friend - the MBA portion didn't arrive in my statements till almost a week after initial purchase, even tho my airpods tracked in 2-3 days

      • but with such a large % of cashback and all other platforms not even offering it - I would say its 1000% worth trying on this promo !

      It’s probably because the new M4 MacBook Air hasn’t actually released till Mar 12.
      Cashback won’t show before delivery or pick up.

      For pick-up they sometimes ask for the ID as proof but for online purchases and the delivery option no verification is needed or required.

          Hmm that’s annoying - and confusing as they have 3 parts on that page which shows (different) exclusions! Furthermore though banner on the flash sale page says get the uni offer (free airpods) but when you click through it goes to regular Apple Store page for 8% and Apple Edu page only shows 1.5% - what a total mess by SB!

        Yes, why not? If you’re after a budget (in Apple’s products term) but highly capable M4 desktop, BUY now! It’s not like they will release a M5 mini this year and probably won’t until end of 2026 the earliest.

        If I didn’t have a maxed out M3 MBP, I would have bought the M4 Mini too. In fact, I will get one if Apple releases a new display.

            Edu Price: $849
            Cashback (8% of total less GST) : $61.75
            Final price: $787.25

            It should be ATL!
            Savings will be more if you got discounted gift cards.

            Just make sure the purchase is tracked after pick up/delivery then you’re good to go.
            Now my hands are getting itchy just by looking at the price!
