Blockbuster World test championship final match between Australia and India, at The Oval starting on June 7, will be broadcast on free-to-air television in Australia. So no need for a subscription this time around
The one-off Test match on neutral turf at The Oval in south London from June 7 will be shown live and free on Seven, and streamed on the network's digital service, 7plus.
The previous WTC final in 2021, when New Zealand beat India, was shown on Foxtel and Kayo Sports, -so for the first time, everyone gets to watch the final.
Might possibly be the first time Ponting and Gilchrist have shared a commentary booth since they were part of the Ten network's Big Bash coverage between 2013 and 2017.
First time World test championship live on free to air TV
First time Australia in world test championship final
Might be first time Aus and Ind have faced off in England for a test match (can't remember any other instance).
Enjoy.
