  • How do these compare to kitchen aids?

    • More powerful motor on the Kenwood, generally better build on the Kenwood Titanium series, 10 year warranty from Kenwood vs 5 year warranty from KitchenAid. I've had the Titanium Chef

This is more subjective, but the Kitchen-Aid has a more iconic look to it, especially with the range of colours.

      • I have both the Chef XL Elite which I bought from this deal and the Kitchenaid Artisan. The KA is lovely to use and I love the mechanical feel of the hinge release and the speed controller but it just isn't powerful enough with a large enough capacity to do a decent amount of pizza dough which is what I use it for most often. The KW Chef has stainless steel attachments and the dough hook is actually an S Hook which seems to knead better than the J hook of the KA. The Kenwood Chef also has a 1400W motor and also came with a great creaming paddle. There are things I like about both of them which is why I still have them both. If I end up buying a Sunmix 6 spiral mixer I will probably sell the Kenwood or give it to my daughter.

So there is no easy answer to your question unfortunately. They do "compare" in terms of them both being good machines, but you need to know what you will use it for as to whether it will meet the brief.

May not be as good as the Kitchenaid or the Kenwood but just saying there are alternatives which are cheaper.. Had never bought one of these things because of the absurd prices till the Breville deal came up.. but they are pretty darned good at kneading a lot of dough or making sausages..the Breville is..never owned the kitchenaid or the kenwood. I use it once in a while and I bought the meat grinder/sausage maker attachment on another post as well..350 ish delivered for both !! But Kitchen aid has the most accessories available for cheap since it is so popular.

    • That's $399 - we're now entering Kitchenaid/Kenwood pricing territory.

The deal was for 199 which is why I posted the link ..kitchenaids never go for lower than mid 400s ..never looked at Kenwoods so not sure ..but Brevilles ..there is always a deal coming up if you are not in a rush then wait ..maybe should have led with that

  • If you buy it, don't forget this bonus gift promotion :)
