It is worth getting a good suitcase like quality zips and wheels. However, the cost of manufacture would still be tiny so the profit margin would be huge allowing lots of room to discount.
cost to make a good suitcase isn't cheap. shipping is expensive due to the volume of th eproduct. hopefully they nest carry on into medium into large.
i've had a bag die on me mid holiday on the way to the station to the airport. it's then you iwsh you'd bought a decent product.
I dunno about most frequently, but the discount is definitely the heaviest, I think we got our two american tourister bags at like 60% off at DJs 3 months ago. I guess because its such a bulky product and its not like its something you need to buy frequently either.

Are suitcases the most frequently highly discounted products? Sure they are sometimes at full price in DJs but almost all the time 10s% off somewhere.
