First try stirring the ground coffee in the basket with a needle or a toothpick, then tapping the portafilter so the coffee levels, then tamping. The process is easy and mess-free with the dosage funnel on.
Maybe if you see a difference, consider forking out on a tool.
I will give it a go, thank you.
Anyone purchase from EBay and waiting for dispatch still?
Same here, was hoping it was on it's way by now
Same here. Do you know if it comes with the bonus pack?
I think you get some to buy some coffee at 50% off https://promotions.breville.com.au/bonus-coffee-experience-m… see bottom of page
but as its about $18 for 250g even at half price still not cheap https://www.beanz.com/au/en/coffee.html
@redhotchilli: Mine was marked as shipped (with Aus Post) this morning
Mine arrived in Victoria yesterday, double boxed
Nice one. From ebay?
Yes
Ok i got this machine!! Super happy!! Only one issue cabt reach the expresso pressure. Tried different grind sizes but no luck. Im using aldi coffee bean. Can anyone please help me to figure out the grind size to get the expresso pressure. Thanks in advance
Its harder to get the pressure if beans not fresh, so make sure roasting date is not very old.
Make sure to use the single walled 2 cup basket.
Also I would grind finer and increase the dose (use the included Razor Dose Trimming Tool)
