This USB 3.0 to 2.5" SATA enclosure deal is back again and cheaper than last time. This is a good option for turning 2.5" HDDs and SSDs into external storage enclosures. Especially given all the cheap 2.5" SSD deals lately.

Alternatively if you're after an M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure I recommend this deal instead.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

  • Thanks mate grabbed one from the prev deal, gtabbing another

  • No fast shipping 😞

For those that need the item fast, the difference is 1 week vs 2 months

  • I have one. Looks and feels like it's worth $3.97.

Don’t judge an SSD by its cover

  • Thanks OP, been wanting to get one of these for a while! I'm not sure how, but I managed to get a USB-C to A one for $1.65 USD, not that I'm complaining!

  • +1

Bought one. Now I just need a 2.5" SSD deal.

  • The m2 enclosure I purchase from Amazon year ago was $40, I didn't think to check out Ali for the equivalent at half the price. Last week I used my M2 enclosure to close my old 1TB to a 2TB. A few hickups but fine now.

  • thanks op ordered 3 for just under $11 each cant complain :)

  • Just Ordered 2x White & Black are sold out now

  • I got one of these last time. As is traditional with OzB purchases I had no immediate need for it, so it went in the drawer. but when I pulled it out and actually tested it, it appears to be a dud. SSD, HDD, nothing mounts. If I'd spent more than $10 on it, I'd send it back. Should I try again?

The Orico M2 enclosure I bought in a more recent deal, no problem, with a short cable connected to a TB3 port, >1GB/s for large transfers.

    • You should only try again if you will test it right away. For the previous deal, I tested it right away. At this price, it's best to test it as soon as you receive it.

  • It is cheap but it is ugly looking (i have one). Wish the retro cassette enclosure is this price!

  • Grabbed one, thank you!

For $4, it's worth adding to my pile of computer crap that might come in handy one day.

  • M.2 sata deal expired :/

  • Missed? Got US $6.55

    • After the coupon?

      • Oh looks like I had the wrong one.

  • I entered it at the last page (Paypal payment),
but the code doesn't work (?)

  • I hardly use mine. There's not much reason anymore.

  • Comes up as US $3.51 with free shipping to Europe. Still a steal!

  • Why does it Say "Micro B" before the USB 3.0

  • Received mine today, 2.5 weeks from ordering, but unfortunately the case was cracked pretty badly. Hopefully I won't have any issues getting a replacement or refund!
