Looks like the Pixel 7a is dropping this week!
Officeworks has the first deal with a free pair of Pixel Buds A series.
Note: Google Pixel 7A is set to 60Hz by default. Go into the display settings and toggle on Smooth Display for 90Hz.

Tend to agree… 7 would be better value at this price point. Been asleep as $799 a few times already

for those looking for specs
Yep, really doesn't offer anything new/better when the 7 can be had for $799
It would really need to be in the $650 range to make me regret buying the 7 recently…
How does it make sense that the Pixel 7 beats the 7 Pro in all benchmarks?
7 only has to drive a 1080p screen compared to 1440p on the Pro.
what? 7 Pro has a larger screen and additional camera?
All of us already got the $150 Pixel Bud pro from the Optus deal.
If the deals are anything like last year's for the 6a, wouldn't be surprised if there is another $250 trade-in at JB, and then a week after that promo ends Google will drop it to $599 for an easy pricematch. Cost would end up being $350 (not including trade-in value) if you held onto the coupon after the promo period ends, but not before the coupon itself expires.
Which coupon?
Coupon you get from JB trade-in if it happens.
What price did the 6A start at? It dropped in price fast!
Same price as the 7a, in fact it's still being sold for $749 as of right now!
Apparently it'll go down to $549 this week once the 7a is out
Damn, wonder what the sales on the 6A will be like. Surely $400 isn't out of the question - given that tis dipped below $500 a few times.
If this has wireless charging and 90hz display, I hardly see any difference to Pixel 7.
Smaller screen
I dont think 0.2" will make much of a difference.
That's not what she said
With a bit of discount, this will be one of the best value phones of 2023. Performance is probs 2021 flagship level, but the camera will be top notch knowing how good Pixel phones are.
I still want a Pixel 7 at a good price! 6.1 inch display is too small…
Some ppl above say 0.2 inch doesn't matter
My Samsung A73 has intermittent haptic/vibration issues….annoying
Was comparing….OW has the 7, $10 lower than the 7a..
But 7a will have slightly longer OS support.
7 is still a more compelling choice…IMO
Looks like the buds deal has expired
$749……too expensive…
