20% off Eligible Items, Max Discount $1000 @ digiDirect eBay

930
DIDI20

It's back. However seems more restrictive with "Eligible items". Not everything in their store gets 20% off. Sony, Nikon, Olympus, and Lumix photographers will be disappointed.

Offer Period. This offer commences at 10:00am AEST on 05 May 2023 and is available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.

Conditions. This offer entitles you to 20% off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) on Eligible Items during the Offer Period, up to a maximum discount of $1,000 per transaction. Multiple items may be purchased in 2 transactions (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).

“Eligible Items” means items listed at digiDirect on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and the coupon redemption code DIDI20 is found in the item listing, or the item appears in the following URL:

https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/20-digidirect-item-l…

  • Just saw it and tried, code didn't work yet.

    • It worked when I tried just now. May be "Eligible items" are restricted to the items in the link above.

      • I did tried the backpack but seem working now.

Bought the new Canon EOS R8 for $2,039.20. Steal.

    • +2

Yes R8 is a cheaper and better camera for enthusiasts than R6 (mk 1). It is lighter, smaller and technically better in most areas (being newer), missing out only IBIS and a second media slot. The former can be made up by using IS lens, the latter is only important for pros doing paid jobs.

      • +1

Also it has the same CMOS found on the newer R6 Mark II, so you can’t really complain for a good price. Yet do consider the cost of RF lens given no third party options are available now or in the near future. Canon is ambitious as it lures newcomers into their mirror less system with reasonable entry level full frame bodies.

        • Canon now have a good range of more affordable RF STM lenses as well. Some of which are in this sale.

          • -1

@Buy2Much: Yes but the specs like max apertures and several types of aberrations should also be considered. For instance, an RF 100-400mm f5.6-8 costs pretty much the same as its Sigma’s mirror-less counterpart, but the latter allows larger apertures throughout the focal range. But I do appreciate Canon’s in-lens optical stabilisation and Adobe Camera Raw just released their AI-based noise reduction feature, so maybe the game is changing…

            • @DevilsInDetails: I have used Adobe De-Noise feature. Great on building, landscape and object in low light, but human face look weirdly too smooth…

      Want a medal of honour?

  • Huh, the lens I'm after seem to be listed in the link in the T&Cs, but doesn't work

  • +3

Tried a few cameras and lens none of them working

This code can't be applied to your order.

I added a camera bag and lenspen cleaning kit

    Useless coupon.

  • Hope this isn't a sign for future sales, always loved these coupons for price matching with Sony :(

Can see that there are some good prices for RF lenses e.g. RF 70-200 2.8 @ $3519.20 which is probably about as good as it gets. During the super aggressive sale last year it hit $3430.40 but not expecting that again (not direct post but context https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/713194)

    • Yeah, I have not seen a repeat of such bargains. Nowadays with their promos, they lean more toward "good" prices rather than "bargain" prices.

      • Inflation at work.

  • +2

Doesn't apply to A7iv or A7R iv otherwise it would have been a great deal.

This is not correct, I have found items browsing within this URL that do not accept the discount code.

    • On a call with eBay right now and they aren't being useful about this? They literally don't understand all items available in the link, can be discounted.

They mentioned for me to wait for the link to be active later.

      • Did you end up with a more specific time than "later" from them?

Any idea if the stock list is wrong, or that code needs to be expanded to more items?

        • +1

They called me back only to let me know tamron items weren't included (although they are clearly on the list). Poor form on digidirect and eBay here.

          • @antonskies: What about Sony? I went straight to the "Sony A7R V Mirrorless Camera Body" through the link above that supposedly lists the items that the discount applies to and the coupon says its not valid.

  • Is this code OK for Cashrewards/Shopback/Cheddar cashback?

      Cheddar is gone….

      • +2

        Launched 11/2021. Gone 05/2023. RIP.

        • Funny as I just found out about them half a year ago

        • What! I was still eyeing off the $70 cashback offer that was supposed to be ending this month. Should have made use of it sooner :(

  • Didn't work for me on listed items

  • nice i was in store yesterday and got the asus pa329C for already a good price that was on order but will cancel and grab it at 20% off as that makes is $1598

  • Not much there!

  • +1

Got a Canon RF 35mm lens for $639.00 for my wife for mother's day.

    It's a decent price.

    • +1

      Save it for the anniversary.

      • +1

        That was very recent!

        She'll love it.

Godox V1 TTL Li-Ion Round Head Camera Flash for Sony @ $294.40

NOT BAD. Can recommend if you want a workhorse of a flash for sony.

  • Debating if this is worth using on the Logitech MX3 mouse.

    • +1

There is a coupon on the Microsoft and Razer eBay stores.

      • Will check it out, thanks!

  • +1

damn… 20% off the Epson ET-8550 is an amazing deal… I bought it recently for 'only' 10% off.
Exxy but super amazing large format photo printer!

  • Code doesnt work eventhough its on eligible item list

  • I have a credit card with 3k min spend coming on Monday/Tuesday. Any way I can delay purchase because ideally I'd like to buy it now? Any workaround with eBay?

    • You could use paypal or afterpays "Buy Now Pay Later" options.

    • If you have paypal and make the purchase as "pay in 4" you'll only pay 25% upfront and then can change the payment method to a different card for the remaining 75%

      • When I select PayPal, the pay in 4 option does not appear. Does that mean digidirect doesn't accept it as a vendor?

        • dunno sorry, have you been offered pay in 4 option for other pruchases ? i usually get offered it on anything over $30

  • As usual, excludes anything i want to buy…

    • yah usually happens to me but in this instance was ready to buy a monitor so its worked out well

Good price for Insta360 X3, comes down to $630.40, cheapest I've ever seen.

  • I was considering grabbing a Canon R7 which was listed at a pre-discount price of $2,249 this morning. When I got home and checked again this evening, they had bumped the price up to $2,289. Not a huge increase, but still annoying. I guess I should have got in quicker. Looks like they have sold quite a lot of them. Well done to anyone who got one at the cheaper price.

  • Napped myself a Keychron K8 Pro. I didn't belive it when I saw they also sold the K8 Pro, and it's part of eligible items.

  • Have just seen the item I purchased is cheaper again and still has 20% off.

My original order has been shipped and I have a tracking number.

It’s about $300 less. Can I reorder at the new price and return the first item without penalty?

  • +5

DD had broadened their 20% eligible list to include many Sony, Nikon, Olympus, and Lumix items today. Including Leica as well, which rarely get much discount!

    • Thanks, it covered the item I am interested in too.

    • +3

Sweet!! Some deals I've been eyeing: GR IIIx $1,279 (GR III normal sold out/pulled just before). Tamron 28-200 $879 (also 28-75 G2 $1110 not too bad). New Sony 50mm f/1.4 GM $1,679 <— price error? Ugh… must resist

      • +1

Agreed.. grabbed the 50 f1.4 GM earlier.. too good to pass up and more compact vs the f1.2

  • +1

Great buy on the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Sony E.

    Comes down to $1278.40

    • Was so split on this and the Tamron 28-70 G2 for $1110, but ended up getting the Sigma, such a good deal

  • GGGrrrrrrrr

My apologies your order has been cancelled due to stock availability. We oversold this item. The refund may take 2-3 business days for the refund to appear on your account. Thank you.

    • What did you order?

      • Fuji Instax camera - it was one of the ones with bonus pack ( case etc ). When ordered it said it was the last one.

Best bargain of the day for photographers: Sony A7R V $3999.20 delivered. Only 1 left!

    • Wow 😮… that’s is damn cheap.

    • For those who used that to price match with Sony.com.au, Cashrewards is offering 13%. So, I'll try to stack it all: the price-matched price, Cashrewards cashback, and Amex cashback. "Hopefully", I can get it for $3,379.30.

      • Cashrewards no longer honour Sony price matched items.. they added a new disclaimer and are savvy enough to reject price matched orders..

        • They removed the disclaimer after adding it which I would take as implied approval of price matching though…

        • I don't see the disclaimer.

    • OOS earlier but DD drip fed another A7r V today. Hurry if you have been waiting.

    • Nice versatile lens but I went back to primes in the end.

      • I would be interested in the Sony 135mm 1.8 but of course that isn't part of the sale :(

        • Mmm that’s an epic sharp lens, shame not listed with the sale.

  • Anyone know where I get the tax invoice for a purchase from Digi via eBay?

Going o/s so want to claim TRS.

The picking slip (in the box that was shipped) has an ABN printed and the item listed but no dollar value listed anywhere.

Invalid neg. What's that got to do with DD's sale? Is it their fault if the Sony has dust on sensor?
You seem to have a habit of trolling and negging posts, without contributing anything useful :-p

      • +1

I have also reported it as an invalid Neg. How bloody stupid are some people?

    • I own one for half a year and have never had "dust problems"
