Everything I bought from ORICO on aliexpress was faulty or low quality, I guess I'm just unlucky.

I don't expect this to be high quality exactly, but faulty doesn't sound good. Should be easy to return through Amazon at least :/

  • Using a Samsung T7 as storage for my PS4. So could grab a cheap SSD and use this enclosure and should work with ps4 for cheaper aye..

If you wanted something else that's decent quality. Got this one for 35.24 a few months ago and it's been really good.

      • Do you have a link to the black version? This one is only showing the grey.

I have this and works perfectly.

I’ve always had good experiences with ugreen.

      • Same. Bought the black ugreen instead for $5 more as I needed an NVME to USB adaptor. Will be useful for seeing the contents of various drives I have lying around.

For comparison, I have the same unit in not so pretty colour 🤭, black and also a sabrent version and the difference in write speed is 300mb/s on this one vs 600mb/s on sabrent (sustained, using the crucial p5 plus). Hope it helps.

I have this (in black) with a Kingston KC2500 1TB inside it. The reviews are correct; ditch the included cable and use a decent one. Works very well once you do.
