15% bonus ($20 cap) via Westpac too.
    Congrats on first post!

      first dupe too?

      • Click the report button if it's a dupe

      • Ain’t no dupe 😉

    • +1

      There’s also a $5 challenge @SB (125 spend)

Not sure if challenges are targeted??

  • Be careful with these Shopback Westpac offers, sounds great but doesn't seem to track. I am still chasing up on my cashback from March and it's not getting anywhere. @gotyourback seems to be out of action…

    • +2

Do you typically order on a computer browser or via the app? I do my best to use the latter if I want some peace of mind.

      • Computer only

        • From personal experience, I'd say first make sure you're not on a VPN since I've had at least one transaction untracked because of it. Then maybe try deactivating AdBlock, although I don't believe I've ever had a transaction blocked by it.

        • +3

Shopback's browser tracking was always unreliable, especially if you have any addons/vpn/anything non standard.

The mobile app has never failed to track for me.

      • Might try the app since I can't use paypal to make it track better.

    • +1

I find mobile app 100% success rate.

    • +2

shopback in general are terrible with tracking so i dont use them anymore. when you raise tickets they just close them with one of several excuses (retailer didnt honor it, we cant prove it ya ya ya despite the invoice). cashrewards even if it doesnt track i never had an issue with their followup team. sorry, just an anti shopback rant, no promised cashback will get me back to them

    • Mine manages to track somehow

    • Hey mate, certainly not out of action and am happy to help, I can't see any messages having come through from you, shoot me a DM and I can take a closer look as soon as I'm able (do note that I'm quite busy this week so might take a short while to get back to you but will do ASAP).

Great deal, hardly see these 40% cashback deals

    • Up to $20

      • $40 combined, per transaction

        • Wow great, thanks

        • +1

Although if you're using the full bonus cap, you'd have to spend $146.67. Whereas for the base cap, you reach it by the time you've spent $88.

So for the full amount, it works out to the equivalent of 30% cashback with $40 cap

  • Seems like a good time to pick up an Ardbeg 10!

    https://www.liquorland.com.au/spirits/ardbeg-10yo-single-mal…

    • $20 cap though

      • Unfortunate but $84 is still not a bad price! (On the other hand, I should really stop buying whisky…)

      • Cap is $20 for both regular and Westpac cashback. @Etherkai

So that'd actually bring it down to ~$60 if you pay with a linked Westpac card.

        • Generous thanks

  • Is the cap per transaction or per user?

    • Per transaction based on @gotyourback comment on previous similar deal

  • They've jacked up the price of spirits.. Bombay sapphire 1L gin was $73 yeterday, now it's $81

    • +2

Johnnie Walker Black 1ltr - hold my beer.
      $74 yesterday, $92 today.

    • +2

not on sale last week and back to normal since its the new catalog week?

  • +1

Anyone calculated what's the transaction amount for maximum cashback if paying with Westpac card?

    • +3

      Bit rough but close enough.
      $88 for 25% cap (25% $20, 15% $12)
      $145 apprx for 15% cap

    • +4

I'd keep it at no more than $90 to maximize the 25% part and overall % with the 15% added on .
      eg $90 spend would get $20 + $12 = $32 back after GST .
Bloody hell grog bargain of the century hehe .

Stay below the $90 all purchases will save around 35-36% after GST Crazy

      • So if I'm spending more than $90, just split the items in to different transactions? I'm looking at 2 for $50 on sparkling, and a slab of beer at $66. You can receive cashback on multiple transactions, right?

        • it worked for me the last time they had the liquorland deal

        • +1

@sween64 yes unless specifies individual user cap

        • +1

Btw what u said its correct ive been doing it for my dad he wants a lot of slabs and doing it individually maximises cashback

  • I looked at some of the cases of beer from low to high .
    Party time.

    • +1

I always go Uberbrau when feeling beer, $22.91 for a slab today but I'm going spirits today, Licor 43 at $30.54, yummm.

      • What do you do with Liccor 43? I have a bottle and its just collecting dust not because I hate it, just dunno how to use it best

        • Myself I either mix with Lemonade, have done coke and its nice but blasphemous, or straight w/ ice.
Know quite a few who mix with milk but I've not tried that.

I find it to be quite interchangeable with Dom Benedictine, Drambuie or Glayva, all different but in the same league.

        • Barraquito!!

  • Upto 25%. Seems like a 10x of what the current cashback is. Does this mean spirits are 20% cashback?

    • +1

It's always upto as Penfolds and another are never included, I would expect everything except those 2 to be at 25%

    • 25% but capped at $20…

  • Potentially a silly question, but I am new to this. Can I use a liquor land gift card and still do this?

    • No, giftcards will void any cashback with liquorland.

    • +1

Liquorland online orders paid partially or in full with any gift cards will be ineligible for cashback.

    • As mentioned, no you can't.

But, I don't think you can even use them online anyway?

      • thank you all

  • +2

shin malt mizunara selling for 60 more at other mainstream liquor stores like dan Murphy etc.

    • Ridiculous price before the discount. 👍

  • Wish I could get onto the site right now!

  • No ales in 24 cartons available on the Gold Coast click and collect…none

    • yes, I've noticed there isn't much in beer cartons available for click and collect near me, and I have two stores nearby. (not in the under $50 category anyway)

  • +1

Happy to report that the Liquorland transaction tracked in about 1.5 hours.
My first purchase at Liquorland with ShopBack and also just got a Westpac card.

  • Hey Rep

Is this per transaction or limited to one per account?

    • per transaction btw

      • Is this confirmed…?

If so, I have a second order to complete just now

        • +1

Ive had 2 transaction track both with 12 dollars and 8 dollars

  • Anyone found any good vino deals? Nothing jumping out at me…

    • My dad has been buying heineken for 35 a slab

This baby worked for home delivery but not click and collect : https://www.liquorland.com.au/beer/beer-lager-12pk-can-500ml…
Beer Lager 12Pk Can 500mL (Naked Label)
    50
    $100
    Subtotal
    $100
    Delivery Cost
    $0
    Total (inc GST)
    $100

    50 to get free delivery . $1.30 a can after cashback :)

    • Pretty rough though. Smithys is a better cheap lager.

  • 2 cases of goat for $78 ain't bad.

  • Is cashback only offered for one transaction per account? Or can I make multiple transactions and recieve the cashback on each?

    • Multiple .

      • Is that confirmed?
Of so, I'm about to make my second order

  • I don’t have SB (yet). Is there a sign up bonus code that anyone knows of?

  • First time using Shopback. Made an account and linked my card.

Picked up 1L Roku Gin for $88 (0.25*88) is a $22 discount but capped at $20. So bottle should cost $68. On a separate transaction grabbed a 700ml Jack Daniels (for simple coke mixing) for $52 - already on special - so bottle should be $39 after the discount.

I am using shopback properly right? How long does it usually take for these to track and for me to withdraw?

Anyway, thanks OP for posting this deal :))

edit: I just realised I bought through safari instead of chrome… really hope that doesn't break the shopback

    • Did u have an extension for the browser?

      • I don't have extensions for safari but I'm worried that it might have blocked essential cookies or something required to track the purchase.

When I entered the shop back portal it just mentioned to 'checkout as usual', and I previously linked my cards.

        • +1

You should use the shopback extension on chrome and use a computer its a bit easier to know if ur shopback is going to track

          • @StarPlatinum: Will note to do that next time. Unfortunately not sure if current orders have gone through. It's not the end of the world but it's a miss of $33 savings.

I'll wait and see if they go through in the next 48 hours

            • @AlexMX: You could always cancel the order and reorder u got around 23 minutes

              • @StarPlatinum: On shop back is does notice I clicked multiple sites but doesn't note that I purchased off it

How do I cancel the orders, I've already received confirmation for them and they're ready to pick up

                • @AlexMX: I usually call them and ask them to cancel those orders then reorder through the extension and usually make sure I don’t click out when I’m ordering

                  • @StarPlatinum: I definitely didn't click out whilst I shopped (after entering the shop back portal to Liquorland). I can't even make a claim to shop back for another 2 days. So I'll have to wait and see.
Thanks for the advice for next time though.

                  • @StarPlatinum: Just got a notification that both my shopbacks went through. So in the end it was all good :))

    • it saids
Standard Cashback (Capped at $20), Valid for Orders Placed Between 3pm and 7pm AEST
      25.00%
      Penfolds and Dom Perignon

      • on mine, under Penfolds, it says Beer and Cider = 0.75%> wtf. I'll have to have another look.

          • @StarPlatinum: on the extension itself, here's mine: https://imgur.com/a/MuocIQj

@gotyourback can you please tell us which one is true?

            • @sizzly348: when it tracked on shopback it tracked for normal for beer for 25% and 15%. Quite strange we should check with @gotyourback

            • @sizzly348: My extension doesnt show that

              • @StarPlatinum: thanks, maybe mine is messed up then for some reason. I'll take a punt and hope it works.

                • @sizzly348: Im too deep in now my dad has asked me to order around 10 slabs

                  • @StarPlatinum: nah I reinstalled the extension. Mine was messed up for some reason. All good now.

                • @sizzly348: Hey hey, yeah seems like yours might be a bit off, I didn't see the same on my end. Have you got the most recent version of the extension downloaded? Unsure what might have caused this but will definitely take a look. To confirm, the 25% rate was definitely eligible on beer and cider, it was everything except the exclusions + Penfolds & Dom Perignon.

  • OK fixed. I had to reinstall the extension. No idea what happened there.

    • Oh whoops, just saw this comment lol. Good to know my theory was right though hahaha

  • Does Westpac work if I use Apple Pay? 🤦‍♂️

    • +1
