  You need 1.5kg of dry malt for these. $33 worth of this. Anyone know a cheaper brand.

    Coopers liquid malt 1.5kg is $13.50 free delivery over $100 for club members presently, but limit of six cans. Which is a bit of a problem for ordering malt, you need to order something else to get over $100. 1.5kg liquid is about equivalent to 1.2kg of dry malt.

    But places like Kegland sells 1kg bags of LDM for $10.

  Thanks OP. I picked up 3, but all Pale Ales (which is fine). The other varieties - IPA and Amber - were still $27. That was at the Livingston store in WA
