  • This smacks of spam ad to me. Regardless of your strange need to post in CAPITALS, are you actually offerring the South Australian units anything over and above your norm?

I checked and your words here are wack. I'm calling (on good* authority) you out. If you feel the need to be a 'tard posting in CAPITALS, I don't expect you to have a win.

*"good" reading to mean that I haven't a clue, but I just reckon ;D

  • All caps spamming generally indicates a very unprofessional company with nothing special to offer. And why is there a * after the usual price? Where is the explanation of the *?

  • +1

hmmm….. whilst I'd be interested in whether this can be used for some upholstery cleaning (?Rep?).
Their website does need some proof reading…..

"Also, the advantage of this process is that it has ability to flush out large amounts of it." (letters S and H missing perhaps?)
"When using portable extraction equipment and solvents in the customer’s hoe it is important to ventilate and exhaust fumes outside". (Love to keep my hoe clean….)
"the rubbish will be disappear from your desired destination."
    :-)

  • Another deal thats the same as one was offered a few weeks ago. Starting to look like spam to me as well.

    • shouldn't you report your suspicions to the moderators?
They will investigate, then either remove it or let it stand……

Saves people filling the thread with speculation and accusations …….

      • LOL

      • Andy, not always.

We are people as well (except for the horns). We can have opinions. And you will note that this is my personal opinion hence no mod tag against my name, in that post as distinct from this one.**

And if as I mod I voted negative, and made a comment or removed, based on a personal opinion, then someone else would post that this is abuse of a mods power…..

** used in this instance to show the difference, rather than being a pure "mod" comment

        • +1

We can have opinions. And you will note that this is my personal opinion hence no mod tag against my name,

Are we negging now based on opinion?

While you’re more than welcome to express your personal opinion against a deal, this alone should not be used as a reason to vote negative.

          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

          doesn't really matter if you're a mod or not….

        • Are we negging now based on opinion?

You are going to extreme here. I said I have an opinion. Just like you have an opinion.

          As you quote here.

this alone should not be used as a reason to vote negative.

          Operative word - alone.

I said this is second exact post, therefore to me its spam. Plus what I said to the poster below.

        • +1

          therefore to me its spam

Shouldn't the post therefore be removed?

          or…..

Examples of negative Votes that MAY be removed by a Mod
To assist in understanding, examples will be added here, over time.
          Examples follow…..
          Not a bargain.
          Agree
          SPAM*

          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

Perhaps the neg should be removed?

(This is not 'mod knocking' btw….. just don't like to see inappropriate negs wherever they may turn up. If it's spam, then remove it…. If it's not, then what is your neg telling me about this product or retailer? other than ozpete personally thinks it might be spam…… which says something about ozpete, and nothing about the retailer or product)

        • Well lets agree to disagree. I thought it was marginal spam. I guess its more of a warning by voting it down rather than just removing it.

As for saying something about me, I guess it does. I was just trying to say its gray, not black or white.

        • You are going to extreme here. I said I have an opinion. Just like you have an opinion.

You’re more than welcome to express your personal opinion against a deal, this alone should not be used as a reason to vote negative.

A mod should be notified to remove your vote. Oh wait, you are the mod. Oh Damn. *face palm.

        • I guess its more of a warning by voting it down rather than just removing it.

          Hmm…

If the deal doesn't apply to you, you don't like the company, you want to leave a warning for people about the business or deal, you might want to leave a comment and then not vote.
          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

          Happy to agree to disagree

        • Hmmm, this rule is even specifically mentioned as stated above.

It looks like everything boils down to being able to bend the rules if you are a mod without a badge.

Seriously, you need to stick to the rules son if you want others to do the same.

        • -1

If you guys are so worried about "the rules" why are you discussing this off topic material on a deals comments instead of the forums or TWAM?

  • i don't think he is a doctor either.

though he may have a Phd in cleanology or steamatics

  • Those who think its spam, than its not. its my first post so probably some mistakes
And those who commented on my email id, i would appreciate that they dont go personal.
people can verify the website and the credentials of it. let the moderators decide whether its spam or fake.
dont criticise someone's work or effort just for the sake of doing it.

    Regards

    • Strange but you have two posts if you take into account this one.

      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/73207

But hey who's counting the spam…

On a true use of moderation powers, I had removed the more offensive of the dr jokes. You do need to accept, some comments on this, especially when a bargain doesnt come up to scratch.

This is a bargain site, so you have to understand that this is not your normal run of the mill user. They are far more discerning of a bargain, rather than looking for some small discount, which in this case is frankly the same as any offer by any carpet cleaner in any city in Australia. So much so, who would ever be taken to the cleaners by a carpet cleaner without an offer like this. (Just look at almost any shopper docket)

Rules 1,2,3,4 of marketing. Know who you are marketing to. Target users here with real bargains and you will get results…

    • Wow congrats, you've worked how to not write in caps, well done buddy, great work.
