You're kidding? how? i3 is like entry level
Cores, or lack of.
Monikers like "i3" and "i7" are just a marketing trick.
Always look at how fast the CPU actually is.
Already gone…
Damn that was fast. A bit scammy having such low stock. I only got one because I had a price alert on it on PcPartPicker.
Yeah I agree. I saw it a while back but was looking for a cheap ITX motherboard to pair with it from the same store. Let's just say I …….. and found out…
Great bang for buck CPU
At half of the price of 5600 or 12400f? This is great price for a budget pc even 5600 and 12400f is faster for gaming.
"faster" is probably an exaggeration actually, they are within -1 to 5% more FPS or so unless paired with a 4090 (-1 to 14% faster)
That's faster, but not really noticeably so.
At $210 a 5600 is a good choice over the i5 12400f and the usual price of this i3 13100f, a few bucks more for a little more performance.
Thanks for the video, this $109 is a great budget CPU (even better price) for budget gaming pc as I said. Which also paired well with good budget GPU 6650xt. Just that I am not sure if something like 6800 or 3070 ti (or above) this CPU is enough, as 5600 or 12400f can at least handle 6800xt and 3080 without issue.
too bad the cheapest motherboards have doubled in price over the last 3 years
That's always been the case for older cpus+mobos. Can find the cpus dirt cheap but mobos start rising even more since they tend to die quicker at higher rates. Same reason why we're not getting x570 deals for 100-150 anymore or any other am4 mobos. After a certain point it makes no sense to buy into older platforms.
These will go fast. Don't hesitate.
Even beats the (still $620) flagship 10c/20t i9-10900k from a few years back in some games (and matches it in most others) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oet09kg-LUA
