    • Dating app

      • That requires women to message first.

Or bots to milk money from lovestruck users.

@fadeinthemix: I will be paying here too after the trial.
I rather pay for Onlyfans. Those girls don't even have clothes to wear.

      • “Free wife”… no such thing

        • Just as expensive as kids if not moreso.

        • Wife is cheap. The ex wife version, not so much…..

It's hard to maintain my friendship when Anastasia Kuznetsov keeps forgetting her bank card PIN and needs me to help her with emergency cash so she can pay rent.

If you're after a lasting relationship and aren't just mindlessly "Yes"ing on every single person you see, the Premium features on dating apps generally aren't necessary.

The two most insidious paywall features I've seen are:

    • Tinder's "Pay per read receipt" (there is no positive outcome in seeing read receipts: They either haven't seen it yet in which case nothing changes, they've seen it and responded in which case you wasted money, or they've seen it and haven't responded in which case you feel awful)
    • Hinge's blatant profiling and locking access to the kind of people you don't instantly dismiss behind the "rose-only" section.

That having been said, I used most of the dating apps for a while, had a number of dates with a few different people and ultimately ended up in a happy long-term relationship, all for free.

Use the free premium for sure, but I wouldn't suggest subscribing for money afterwards.

    • Hinge doesn't really lock the "good" profiles, they appear in your swipe list eventually.

  • I stumbled on my wife on bumble. That cheating wh.ore

    • True story? Or joke. If true, sad for you

      • May not be. But it has happened when a dating app got hacked. Lots of married peoples profiles got leaked.

Does this one need to be explained? (He was implying he was on Bumble too)

I always say to people that bumble is the best value app I have ever downloaded.
Met my best friend. We’re in a happy loving marriage. Parents now to a beautiful boy, and another arriving in October.
All for the price of $0.
I feel like personally the premium functions aren’t really that necessary though. But 14 days for free might help a bit? As another poster said above, I wouldn’t commit beyond the 14 days.

Me too. 4 year anniversary approaching, 10 days after the birth of our second daughter. Engaged & will be married at some point when the kids are grown a little. I count myself very lucky and blessed.

      • Congrats mate! Hope the transition from one to two bubs will go smoothly for you!
Pretty similar really, we’re expecting our 2nd about 20 days before our 4 year anniversary haha.

+1 to the Judge and Wem. Happy for you both.
7 yrs bachelor now second time round, there might still be a bit of hope yet.
        Till then, KFC deals continue

        • Thanks mate! I had been out of relationships for most of my 20s. Met her a month after turning 30.
These things always take a bit of patience, but the pay off is unreal when you find the right person. You’ll find her/him! :)

        • Cheers man. Wishing you luck in love & secret menu deals. Never give up!

    relationships cost money, no bargain.
