16GB RAM is CTO. You need to configure it. Some resellers buy and stock this configuration to sell. You're better off going to an EPP Apple store (online) to get discounts on these, otherwise there might be resellers clearing stock.

This, if you can wait, you will get this for $1200ish, it has been below that over the last few months. $1339 is not a bargain for this laptop (great machine though)
I have M1 macbook pro 14inch. Seriously not impressed.
I dont know what these youtubers hype on about the chipset etc…
The software freezes too many times for my liking and its not as fast as people hype on about.
I miss my older iMacs 27". They were the good times.
Make sure you're fully updated to the latest version of MacOS, and that the software you're running isn't an Intel version (try to find Apple Silicon versions) - the "Get info" menu of an app should tell you the type.
I have the latest macOS. I actually downgraded back to Monterey from Ventura as i prefer the Monterey interface.
Its so annoying that you cannot proceed with a fresh install nstall without having internet connection during booting from usb 😡

I have a M1 MBA/MBP - both rock solid. Less customisation required than Windows.
Interface is also way more stable than with Windows - think W10 to W11 or even the evolution of windows over the years.
@ihfree: Windows 10 is extremely stable. I just adore the minimalistic design of the Macbook Air and am a fan of the ARM architecture. If Apple wasn't ARM I would never consider them as an option.
