That would be really wonderful as I use the Apple keyboard with mine. However, this will piss off the other 50% of iPad users who probably use the device in portrait mode.

I have the M1 12.9" and (now) the M2 11". What I can say is that the 12.9" is far better for typing on (Keychron wireless keyboard) but it is too big for watching movies on the couch/bed.

That's a hard one. Note-taking (assuming using the Apple Pencil) the 11" would be better. Studying the bigger screen is better.
I reckon go the 11" as the 12.9" would be too unwieldy for Goodnotes.
I've had both, 11" is more portable and I can use 1 handed, 12.9" is nicer screen but way more $$ and ended up being a desktop for me, 11" gets more use.

That's a decent price for the M1.
There's no big difference between the M1 and M2 anyways - unless you really need the Apple Pencil hover feature.
If you purchased from the Apple Store you could always return it. ;)

I already have an iPad air 5 that I need to return 'today' (last day to return), which is going to be a big challenge in itself!
My M1 128GB late year was $1129, keep it at that price unless you want 256gb.
Ordered on the phone (officeworks pricebeat) after seeing this, no delivery available only click and collect 30 min away which I said okay to.
Just had a call saying we can swap to white or refer to the warehouse and we'll get it next week. I said next week is fine, then had an automatic cancellation email 5 min later :'(

Yeah, the not-space-grey option. I didn't even look into it because I was expecting to wait a few days not have the order cancelled.

@Caring: I don't think it works like that - I've worked in retail and orders are processed centrally and sent to stores to be picked - the local store offered a substitution but once that is denied it is out of their hands.
I got office works to price match the silver 128gb from binglee last Friday $1223.60, they had to order it in, I picked it up Monday. just took it back told them I want to return for change of mind and asked to price match the 256gb space grey, $1176.10, so basically just got double the storage and an extra $47.50 back in my pocket. The lady asked me if I just sit at home watching prices…….. how rude !

If you want to keep things light and comfortable to use the Apple folio is excellent, pricey but worth it if you can use gift cards or buy on sale. It’s all we use.
Definitely do not buy the official Apple folio this generation. It has no side protection and falls off (attached with magnets only),
Lol, have been using one for a year and my wife still has one on the 2018 for years that I used to have, never comes off, magnets are strong and no marks on iPads either. They haven’t had side protection for 5 years haha. If your a clutz maybe not 😀
Only neg is smudges but wipes off easily with damp cloth, have tried the cheap plastic back with covers and they will scratch sides and the covers are terrible. Not worthy of a great iPad.
I have had every iPad since the original and have tried plenty of cases.
I was keeping an eye out for a good deal on the 10th gen plain ipad 256gb but this is tempting …..

My local OW price beat this for me this morning. It was in stock 8:30 ish went to my local OW around the corner but it went OOS when I got there. asked them if they still price match and they said if they have it in any store yes we do.I did a search on Google and it listed it as in stock in my local BingLee (on the Google page that shows the stock and price and store) and she said yeah I can do that. 1170 ish flybuys point too, that's another 5 box ,lol
