If you don't have a receiver with good dsp, SB1000pro is likely going to integrate better and offer more room tuning.

    • Or the SB2000 Pro, still cheaper than this as well! After discount comes in at $1,519.20

you're talking about different designs though

the SB is sealed which is good

the REL is a passive radiator… only 8" apparently and REL is english and they reckon they are higher end?

        i would prefer svs myself

        • I haven't spent a whole lot of time with SB / radiator to really say I noticed a difference tbh with you sorry.

I've primarily spent time with ported subs for theatre rooms, as opposed to music focused rooms using closed / sealed boxes.

        • Opps to english ,
          REL Bridgend Industrial Estate
          Bridgend CF313TP Wales.
          So they are where WELSH.

REL subwoofers are currently designed in the United States and assembled in China.

        • English brand, Made in China.

SVS are HT subs, the 7x is more music focused sub, faster response. Easier integration into a 2.1 system. Still works for HT but more of filling in the mids and some low. For the booms and rumble the svs will be better.

    • Hi rep, was looking at the onkyo TX-RZ50 but doesnt have an add to cart option

Onkyo TX-RZ50 9.2 Channel AV Receiver

      • Have sent you a DM

  • I had the T9i - worked really well with my B&W 706S2, Marantz Pm7000N

  • I have two of T9x, absolutely worth it if you're a music listener. Not worth it for movies.

  • Thanks OP, can I use the coupon and pay with other payment method other than afterpay?

  • 1 hour to go for those still deciding :)
