Time to play roulette on Amazon.

    • +7

I’ve had 100% miss rate for the last year or so, so I don’t bother anymore.

      • Lost the roulette. Seller change product listing of a kitchen and dining product.

    • +1

Pantry and food category has 0% Cashback. Does that mean even if I pay with Westpac card I still gets no bonus Cashback ??
      Or I will get 0%+15%?

      • +1

        0% from my understanding.

  • Pro tip for the Amazon Westpac bonus: If you have a lot of gift cards currently on your Amazon account where you can’t charge to your Westpac card, find items that are shipped and sold by Amazon AU. Place the order and then head back to ShopBack to resume the other purchase

Ofc make sure you cancel your previous order that you placed before they prepare for shipment

  • The Amazon bonuses always give me hope for something I actually need but the categories are often limited that I'll rarely even need something from them. What does everyone actually buy that I'm missing out on?

  • Thanks, got the Uber Eats $50 gift card, effectively 25% cashback.

    • +1

Food in Uber Eats jacked up 25% too

      • +3

Uber One keep giving spend $30 save $15, so it works out.

      • Depends from my experience, most restaurants at city that I order from ue up their prices about $2-4. So for about a $20 dish it can be lower than 25%.
Some just raise it by $1 only so combine with pick up, it’s good deal.

  • Be careful …..

I do a bit of ubereats drive and I can say with a certainly that much lesser order are now been done throw Ubereats when it compared to Doordash

Just be aware of some promos you get on grocery. If you schedule them, and delivery date fall outside of promo expiry date, the promo discount will apply on the initial charge, but it may not apply in final receipt after delivery was made. Found this out and had to chase them on three previous orders. Luckily two of them I saved the email but the last one I had no email or screenshots and had to argue with CS for long time. Really hassle. Lesson is to screenshot these offers just in case.

There is also 25% cashback CW

  • Can we apply Uber Eats gift card to Uber account? Thanks.

    • +1

I've just added a gift card to Uber Eats and can see it in Uber. Not sure if that helps.

    • +1

Yes, they share the same wallet

    • Thank you brother and sister for your help.

    Great deal!

Just a reminder you can actually use the Uber/Uber Eats gift cards to pay for previous trips/meals placed within the last 30 days

Go to your ride/order history, select "Receipt" for the transaction, then "Switch Payment Method". Select "Uber Credits", confirm, and then you're done!

You then get refunded to your original payment method.

    Fouiyohhhhhh

    • Wow! Thanks so much, this is crazy good when stacking with these deals!

    • +1

      Holy shit!

  • What to buy at Amazon?

    • +2

Nothing . More chance of finding something with the BigW 20% off bonus . Currently looking .

      • Just be aware that there is Minimum spend of $50 in bigw for cashback. I ordered for less and regretting now.

  • Can I use uber eats gc pay for uber ride?

    • Yes, once the credit is in your Uber wallet it can be used for both Uber rides and Uber Eats

  • Think I just missed it

    • Nope, I can still see the $50 option in the promo tab. Only the $100 variant is sold out

There’s only 375 claimed out of 1400 rewards so far

  • +1

Is there anyway to confirm an item's cashback category on Amazon?

    • +2

The ribbon bar if you go into a desktop mode

      • Yeah kitchen and dining no good. However in the past I have had an item in a cashback category denied because it didn't actually fit the category it was put in sigh. I doubt it would ever go the other way

  • +1

Brilliant, thanks Op, perfect 20% off top-up…

  • Confused & optimistic here, is there anything for non-Westpac customers for the Amazon deal? I'm probably mis-reading it…

[In my defence, the Westpac tag sits amongst the Uber info in the title]

    • +1

Sadly none for non-Westpac customers. Only the Uber Eats $50 gift card for 15% cashback is available to everyone

      • +1

Thanks BG! I'll see myself out :D

  • Is there any Westpac account that do not charge monthly fee?

    • The debit card is fee free if you deposit $2K per month.

I put in $2K in the first week of a month and then withdraw it back to my home loan offset account the moment it arrived.

Tip don’t return the money on weekends as they don’t send the money till Monday, unlike my Macquarie account which transfers instantly at any time/day of the week.

      • I tried to find one without the hoops, but it seems none exist. I'll pass these Westpac special offers for now I guess.

    • +1

I have a Rewards Altitude CC, no other accounts, on the Westpac App. No monthly fees. Think of applying for that CC. After I spent $3000 over three months, I got $480 Wish egift cards. You only have to pay $99 annual fee for that. Cancel before the first anniversary, not worth renewing and paying any annual fee.

    • Over 55 account is one.

  • Does Amazon account need to be in my name for me to qualify for the cashback?

    • Nope.

      • Thanks!

  • +2

The 15% upsized uber vouchers appear to be gone now, just showing the standard 2%

  • So my Amazon order tracked at the regular rate but no sign of the westpac bonus Cashback. Is that normal?

    • +1

Same. My assumption it because the payment is "pending" it hasn't triggered yet.

  • Still haven't got the Amazon order tracked at all. I did the transaction around 00:05 yesterday (8/03/2023 early morning). Anyone else still missing their Amazon tracking?

    • +1

I have received only the regular tracking notification but the bonus is still missing.

      • Have you got your bonus tracked? I've already received my Amazon delivery, but I can still only see the order itself tracked, and no bonus got tracked in the pass 3 days.

        • I have not received the bonus yet. The order was delivered today.

          • @Arsi: I got my bonus now

            • @Sheng: My bonus has been received as well. Thanks @gotyourback for following up.

  • Did partial payment option. Bought two books, only regular CB was tracked. Still waiting on Wespac bonus CB.

  • Has anyone else received the Amazon bonus cashback yet ?.

    • Item was delivered today. No bonus cashback received.

    • Westpac team is the bottleneck.

  • @gotyourback can you please assist. It appears none of the users have received the bonus Amazon cashback.

    • Hey mate, definitely not affecting all users from this offer, however I'm more than happy to take a look into this with the team for those that are affected. Will update when I have more info!

      • Thanks for your prompt response. Much appreciated.
