I was planning to buy one of the Seiko Kinetic JDM models but couldn't justify throwing that much money on a watch given the current economic conditions. I had to scratch that itch though so bought this one on sale last time. I couldn't find any reviews or even other photos of this watch. However one couldn't go wrong with day/date eco-drive and I am very happy with the purchase. It looks much better in person. Not very big- 40 mm and around 10 mm thick. If you are after an every day eco-drive I think this is worth the money.

How long does it take to receive? I need it by 9th Mar.
Ships in 1-3 Business Days from Sydney with Australia Post Express. Sydney customers can pick up on the same day from our Alexandria showroom an hour after placing the order by choosing Click & Collect as the delivery option.
Gets shipped express with Starbuy. Next business day if within Sydney pretty much.
Mine took over 2 weeks for a Frederique Constant. But my citizen took 3 days.
Not consistent with the deliveries.
Thanks OP. Good price, got one.
Sapphire. For some reason I won't buy mineral. I cannot explain why :)
Noob: What's the difference?
cannot be scratched and the mind thing - knowing its the best possible material.
Scratch-resistant not scratch-proof.
@Munki: what a smart ass
@[Deactivated]: What, by giving factual information?
@Munki: Be positive please. Is it a deal or not. Thanks
@FBI: I provided a correction of information. It is neither positive nor negative.
Some ppl want the mineral/acrylic because the light refracts differently so it makes the dial have a more warmer vintage look. Having said that mostv random ppl on the street wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
@illusion99: Double domed sapphire crystal looks pretty vintage, either way is best to have anti reflective coating to reduce reflections.
Sapphire gives a more luxury look and touch.
@G-rig: Agree
Yes sapphire is better. Keeps your watches looking like new for years. Annoying Seiko don't up their game and start providing better specs, especially for $700 dress watches.
OOS :/
This tbh
There's a surprise…
And, it's out of stock. What a tease…
It looks like they get the hour markers from the same source as Orient - I prefer Orient's use of the wide one just for the 12 hour spot though…

It looks a little shorter on the White dial but my those one my deep blue Orient seems identical.
Just remembered I was going to order one last night but fell asleep, RIP to me.
Will happily buy if it ever comes back in stock at $149.
Where can you buy JDM models over here? I have got my eyes on Tsuyosa.
