Exactly, excludes shipping. And I'm not 100% if it's direct import or not.

Do they still also stock the standard size ones? How much bigger are these ones?

    • -3

standard size?? what are you on?

Title says, Massive iPad sale not Massive iPad for sale.

It would if there were only one iPad for sale. Ever seen a Holden sale? They're not normally advertised individually :-)

Some people are missing the irony gene ;)

you're so right. I got 4 negs for that one but at least I can be happy that it wasn't from 4 smart people :-)

    • I love it.. Lollll

      Yawn.

  • shipping kills it. I rather get it from Big W

    • Target and MWave are cheaper than BigW at the moment.

      • ??? on the target website it showed higher price than bigw

        • I was looking at the current target catalogue and for the examples I looked at (32Gb Wifi iPad3 and 64Gb Wifi iPad3), Target were $629 and $749 while BigW were $648 and $758.

I realise that I haven't compared all versions.

  • It's an OK deal, but SS's deal a few weeks ago was better.

iPad 2 + $29 delivery to Sydney = $408. $395 at HN and similar price at big w and target. Definitely not a deal. And it's direct import…

iPad 3 16GB = $498 at kogan w/ postage (direct import) vs other retailers that sell it for $497 etc.

Exactly!I recently posted an iPad from postcode 2650 to 2000, in a box with loads of padding AND by Registered Post with $500 worth of insurance. Cost me $20. So $29 is a bit over the odds for a large company, who I'm guessing, would get a better rate from their couriers.

      • It comes from Hong Kong, hence the $29..

        • Ah! I did not know that.

So what though. Why would you pay more something that is an inferior product (not necessarily a full Aussie warranty protected by Australian Consumer law etc).

        • Because you get that warm fuzzy feeling by helping out an Aussie battler (Russell Kogan).
