Mine says "Spend $50 on ShopBack Super Swap GC…", but in the T&C it mentions that I need to spend $100 or more in one or across multiple transactions.

    Which one is correct?

  • +2

The progress and T&C shows as $100 with $5 cashback. Can we get @gotyourback to confirm?

    • +2

My title are clear stated spend $50 on ShopBack Super Swap Gift Cards to get $5 Cashback

  • +3

It was showing spend $50? Changed to $100 after I made the purchase lol

  • Says $10 on the banner

  • Banner states “ bonus amount varies by user”

  • +3

    Rip paid for a $50

  • +2

    Mine showed $5 for $50
    I've got a screenshot too

Why would shopback update not even 5 minutes after it launched.

@gotyourback Looks like its not tracked

    • +2

Mine shows the same on the Westpac lounge home tab. $5 with $50 spend

      • Yeah but the slider will show $100 to go

    • +2

Same here. Purchased $100 and the bonus hasn’t tracked either

Edit: bonus has tracked at $5 for a $100 spent

      • +1

My challenge is now marked as complete

        • Did you buy 100 @kickling

          • +3

            @ozbargainerlife1: Yes. 100.

If this was meant to be $50 then I'd like another $5 bonus please!

        • May I know how much you have purchased? $50 or $100?

  • Its just copy and paste error. People at my workplace do the same all the time. Meant to be $50 with $5 bonus

    • +1

Says $50 on the home screen, but underneath when you click it says $100 to go, as well as the T&C's saying $100 or more.

  • +5

what the hell! it said $5 for $50 so missleading!

    • +1

they need to fix this. should be $50-5

  • +1

Bought $100 GC and the $5 reward tracked instantly

  • +5

Lmao shopback better pay more attention to detail, it's been happening too much lately

  • Bonus Tracked after I bought another $50 so total 2x50$.

    • +1

Yep my slider was halfway when I spent only $50

  • So is it $50 or $100 for $5 cash back?

  • $5 cashback for $50 is for new users only. $5 for $100 is for existing users

  • +1

If its $5 for $100 spend means 5%. Yeh nah no thanks.. 10% min. Intern-kun is gonna get flogged 🫣

    • +1

      Not bad for coles :)

  • +1

That's annoying, i don't usually do the $5/$100 offers but it says $50 in at least 2 places so thought it was okay. Semi forced to buy another $50 now.. Hmm

  • +1

    Thanks

  • +2

I got spend $5 for $100 cashback, but I have been dyslexic to be known

  • +1

We need some clarification. The App clearly states in BOLD print
    $5 ShopBack for "Spend $50">
    But T&C say spend $100.

  • +3

    $10 is for New customers

    Can see the deal here

  • +1

I suppose 7% in total is still not bad but maybe Westpac $30m budget has almost been disbursed, hence poorer offers perhaps from now on.

    • 7% is market-leading, 12% is just excessively generous

  • +2

Another day, another SB fail 🤦🏻‍♂️

    5%? Yeah, nah.

    • +1

      7%

      • I'm obviously talking about the "bonus"

  • +1

I swear it said $50 I thought I was going crazy obviously not

    • One can’t go crazy if they’re already there

  • +4

Wish they'd put Woolworths back into the super swap

    • Bunnings will do.

    • Oh what! When did this happen?

  • wtf I bought a $100 card and I still have "$2.93 to go"

    • @gotyourback come on!

      • Had to buy another $5 card to complete the challenge. Definitely the first I've seen of this issue @gotyourback

    • Did you use shopback money to partially pay for it?

      • No, I didn't have Shopback money at all. I suspected it was maybe GST-related, but that…didn't add up.

    • +1

Hey mate, it does look like you've accidentally used Cashback partially here. If you check your Withdrawal history, you should be able to see the amount having been deducted.

      • +1

        @jyueli come on!

      • Oh damn - ok I didn't realise, sorry GYB!

        • All good, happens to the best of us!

          • @gotyourback: Careful. Will be setting a precedent. Set cut off time. And maybe give the option for $5 for those who only purchased $50, and $10 for those who purchased $100 in good faith.

            • @kickling: yeah, maybe change it to $10 for this time for fairness? I saw the $50 at midnite, but only bought this morning, didn't realize it's been changed to $100 and have to buy 2x $50 like others. it's ok though, 7% is still not bad

  • Mine also said $50 gift card initially but now $100? I had already bought the $50 one

  • can I use this for Amazon GC?

  • +4

Hey mates, taking a look into this with some urgency now to see what the go is, will update as soon as humanly possible.

    • Hey all, as a few have suspected the $50 in the title was a typo in the title from one of our team members, this one is indeed a $100 minimum spend and was edited shortly after midnight to reflect correctly. Apologies for the confusion! If you do make a purchase for a second $50 gift card, you should be able to redeem this one while redemptions last. I'm happy to assist anyone who has trouble with this Bonus, so shoot me a message if you'd like me to take a look at your account for you.

      • +1

        Hi GYB,

Are you honoring the people who spent $50 just after midnight?

        • +2

I'm in the same boat, literally bought a $50 gift card when I saw the offer just after midnight. If I had known the bonus cashback was only $5 for a $100 spend, I wouldn't have bothered buying.

          • @gadget guy: Still looking into what I can do here mates.

            • +2

@gotyourback: Agreed, i bought last night based on $5 dollars for $50, otherwise i would not have bought it as well so if you could do something about this, that would be great

              • +4

@aznsniper: Hey all, thanks heaps for waiting here! I've been chatting to our team to see what we can do to help out here. To rectify users who weren't able to redeem that were affected by this title error, we'll be crediting the Bonus to all users who were opted into the Challenge who didn't redeem the Bonus and made a purchase of a $50 Swap Card before 1:00am AEDT, the titles was edited just before then so will cover all that entered the Challenge whilst the old title was live. The credit should come through for users early next week, so keep an eye out for it then!

Shoot me a message if you have any further q's here, happy to help out.

                • @gotyourback: Hiya, could I ask what the current status of this is?

                  • +1

@sniffingforabargain: Hey there mate, yeah having a look our team haven't got the credits sorted just yet so we are chasing them up now. Sorry for the delay!

  • @gotyourback Can the same Westpac card be used for 2 shopback accounts?

    • +1

Nope, you’ll get an error when trying to add it to your second ShopBack account

      • -1

Damm.. What if joint account holders have same card numbers.

        • If you enjoy joint accounts, it follows that you enjoy joint ShopBack accounts. We all know you wanted to make more than one account for yourself, lol

    • Generate a new card number in the App?

  • +4

Meh, 5% not cutting it for me

    • +1

      Same, 10% minimum for me.

    • -1

Yeah I know some people don't get 7% on the top cards is the best price in town .
      Smart ones do .

  • -1

So are Shopback now only doing these deals for their affiliated bank? Seems like there are little deals like this for people who dont bank with Westpac!

    • +1

Westpac invested a bunch of money into them, they're essentially paying for these deals.

Are there less regular deals now? I don't know, but the frequent Westpac deals probably make it seem more so.

    • $30M USD Investment will do that. Little over 4 months for that funding and ofcourse its been aggressive in promotion.

  • Finally joined the Westpac club for SB… Saw the challenge with 1 slot remaining…yeaaaaaah not going to risk it.

  • bugger. Why didn't I see this in my feed this morning. Sigh.

  • I got $5 now for a $50 purchase. Cheers for goodwill.
