    • Amazing deal for whoever was quick enough to get it.

It was ! Took a couple of weeks. I use it every 2 days

      • Missed out on this by a couple of minutes at the time >< went out of stock while checking out

Except for the yeast dispenser it makes the same bread as the R2530

    • Yeah. I am not sure if the yeast dispenser helps, or is a gimmick.

      • +2

One problem you do get with the yeast dispenser is that the fine particles of powdered yeast and stick to the dispenser due to static electricity… I've got the R2530 and it's no problem whatsoever to put the yeast in manually.

        Very yum bread

  • Got this for $199 during BF and used price protection for $29 deal :)
But I still haven't opened it yet… lol

    • That would be for the SD-R2530.

This is the cheapest I have seen this model.

    • How did you do the price protection?

      • I did with Coles mastercard but most people have 28 degress but you can't get them anymore unless you already have it.

      It will rise

      • Yeasterday it was fresher.

  • absolutely happy with the breadmaker. We bought previous model 3y ago and made a lot of bread, dough, and jam with it. Highly recommended.

  • Thanks OP. This is one of the item in my wishlist :)

  • novice question - 239/4$ per bread = 60 breads = 1 year
+ Electricity (it runs 4 hour?) , material…. how do you justify having a bread maker at home?

      • loaf
      • :-) White loaf , brown loaf…

    • You don't have to buy the bread maker every year and if you have kids one loaf lasts a few days

    • +1

We went through the same thought process, as you say takes about a year to pay off.

Crucially though, the quality of bread you are then eating is infinitely better and healthier than the store bought shite they churn out.

Anyone in WA, I can highly recommend All About Bread in Greenwood, their bread mixes are fantastic, amazing bread. Simply weigh it out, push a button and in two hours you've got an amazing loaf.

Best thing I bought with a bread maker is a food slicer (imagine a really cheap version of a deli slicer) makes cutting slices so much easier and uniform.

Have a Panasonic machine too and it's been bulletproof so far.

      • What are you using to cut the bread, got a link? The only bad thing about having a bread maker is cutting slices from the finished product.

Thats a photo of the exact one I have and it works fine. Got it on Gumtree brand new in the box for $15

  • What makes better bread vs bad bread?

    • Raisins. I usually find them making bread bad.

  • This is the premium model SD-ZP2000KST but maybe a bit too pricey for most people
