9 Nights Pacific Island Cruise $315pp Twin Share: Departs Sydney 3 April @ P&O Cruises

180

Got this email yesterday as a past passenger one day only sale, but couldn’t post it due to some constraints on my account. And guess what got this email again today that they have extended the deal for another day. Couldn’t resist myself from posting this deal.

I might sound like a Pocruises rep, but I have really been happy with my experience with them and at this price it’s crazy. Wish I had some time
Off work and would have gone. Comes to $35 per night.

More dates during school holidays also available only marginally expensive at $450Pp twin share but this is an oceanview room vs interior in the post.

Hope this helps some of us!
Enjoy!

  • Might want to list as targeted

    • -1

It is targetted. P&O market to those without any expectation; non-complainers who can be served slop. The rest of us don't get a look in.

  • Do you need a code or a special link to get this price? Because when you visit the deal link, the following is shown.

    FROM $449.00 PP/ 2 PERSON ROOM

    • That’s strange, the link in the post shows me $315 pp. if others are not seeing this price then could be really targeted.

      • I made a new account, accepted marketing junk, and navigated to the deal page. Still $449pp. This post is tagged Targeted unless we find a way to get $315pp for everybody.

        • May be you have to be past passenger.
But what worries me more is that there is nothing in the link, like no codes or extra characters etc. , neither am I logged on to my Pocruises account and it still shows me $315
How do they know it’s me?

@Dealking: One likely method is that the site has left persistent cookies on your browser. Try the deal link in InPrivate or Incognito mode and logging in/out.

@alvian: Thanks Alvian! Yes - tried incognito and it
shows $449. Still not bad, but definitely not as good as $315. Cheers!
              Sorry folks - confirmed targeted.

  • What’s even crazier is if I choose 4 persons in a room it drops down to $215pp - that’s like $25 pp. if you got small kids, will be something.

    • Adults need 2 shots kids under 12 highly recommended but doesn't seem madatory.

    • +2

They allow no more than 5% unjabbed which includes kids under 12 and those with valid exemption.
This policy is ridiculous considering that for a while people have been going to the packed stadiums, night clubs, flying in airplanes, traveling all over the world without the requirement to have a jab.
Not surprising they are struggling to fill the cruise ships.

      • -2

I don’t think the 3.5% of the population that don’t meet this requirement is really affecting the bottom line by much.

  • +7

When will they remove the redundant vaccination requirement…

    Wait a second guys

runs and grabs tin foil hat

Ok. Now I’m ready to comment

You mean runs and grabs rat to lick

    Cheaper than my rent :)

    • +1

      Cheaper than anyone's rent :-)

    • At least at home you're not stuck on a boat .

  • I got that email too…too bad I've already got a cruise from 5th to 15th April. Very cheap

  • +1

The price have gone up. The cheapest for 2ppl now is $599 and for 4 - $449.
Not surprising they are struggling to fill the cruise ships thanks to their ridiculous jab policy.
People can travel all over the world now and cross borders without the jab mandate.

  • How many cruises did you have to do to get a special invite?

    • I have only been on 2 so far - one was a 10 night pacific islands and another 9 nights to Whitsundays. This is the first time I got this type of a targeted offer. My first cruise was pre-covid - 2019 Apr and the second was post covid Jul 2022.

    • I have been on quite a few cruises before 'covid' close of business. But all emails I get are their weekly promotions. I don't think they are targeted.
