So it's the same promo as the previous one, you can use promo code but will track at 1% for standard cashback. So annoying that the seller cancelled my order from the previous promo today.

Also if anyone can recommend me a power bank similar to this one on eBay that would great.

Is it confirmed that 1% cashback will be work with unlisted coupon codes? Some comments on the previous thread said cashback has been rejected with coupon codes in the past.

      • You may be correct, although @gotyourback should be able to clarify this.

Under T&C's, eBay cashback is normally -

As of 28th October 2019, Any purchases made with the use of Coupon / Voucher Codes are not eligible for Cashback (unless otherwise stated) and will track at $0.00

Although, it is a tad confusing whether the 1% actually allows for codes that is not FEBPLF, as stated here:

Purchase WITH the use of Coupon Code [Capped at $20 Cashback] - 1.00%

1% tracked for my orders after using an unlisted code in the last deal. @nxllson

What does your profile picture mean, by the way? (Just out of curiosity)

        quick mafs

It's in reference to ebay 20% coupons. Pricejack by 15%, Take 20% = crap discount.

Although the maths in the picture isn't technically correct it makes it more obvious this way. Tho it's pretty old… it's not as obvious as it was when the ebay shenanigans began. And maybe people are used to 22% now? Shrug. Too lazy to change it :)

  • Still saying up to 4% for me. Error?

    • Just updated. Live now.

  • It's a bit confusing to update and link the old Westpac post. Afaik it's a new promo so the $20 Westpac cap is reset from the last deal

    • +1

Cap is per transaction anyway. But yea it’s a new deal as the last deal already expired, so it wasn’t a dupe. Not sure why @alvian is editing the deals when hardly anyone would now go back to the old deal to see that it’s active again.

      • I'm not sure that the Westpac is per transaction?

      • The linked post was edited for the promotion extension 24 hours prior to this post, thus making the Westpac Lounge offer a duplicate here. A duplicate deal report was received within 10 minutes of the submission of this post. We have to apply the guidelines fairly and equally to all users.

If you doubt our claim of fairness and equality, then please examine the revision history of the linked post where I misread the date and mistakenly removed the update for being a duplicate of this post.

  • I purchased $80 on ebay and shopback 10% cash rewards but only received about $3.50 rewards.

    • Really that's flawed. You sure didn't use coupon?

  • +3

Does using an eBay gift card invalidate my shopback cashback?

    • +2

      No.

If you have Westpac, Westpac won't trigger unless there is some spend to the card. Even $1 on the card will trigger 10% on the total

    • Nope, i bought item with code and paid just 5$ with westpac and rest 350 with gift card. Received full cashback in December.

  • Wonder how do they know if you used a coupon or not because don’t they just track the final amount that you pay in the end even after using a coupon?

    • +3

Wonder how do they know if you used a coupon or not

When your tracked cashback gets rejected eventually when eBay doesn't pay up Shopback.

  • No cashback on shipping and GST I guess ??

Bought something using afterpay, and Westpac card. Hopefully will get at least 10% CB, may be even 20% (if get lucky)

    • No cashback on shipping, for GST it’s only on items from overseas.

  • Bought $46 and only got tracked 40c - didn’t use any coupon either…
