First post please be gentle. Seems to be a good price for Arctis' entry level headset.

  At this price point you will have much better sound with some chifi IEMs and a clip mic. There are potential issues with fit and directionality with such a setup, but compared with this closed back designed purely to gouge gamers it'll just sing. There is simply no way to compete with iems as a full headphone until higher price brackets due to the cost of materials intrinsic to the form factor.
  Even if sound were comparable, IEMs have the great strength of being usable for a portable setup.
