Both games are on my wish-list for a long time and I think now it is a good time to buy them. SNK is having a sale for other games as well.

    For me, I was grown up with KOF not SF :) Big fan of SNK but agree with you that price for new title is very pricey so I always wait for big sale.

      I grew up with KOF as well (98 was my fav) but I saw backlash when they went to 3D. Add $90 asking price made me forget about the series.

        96 was my favorite as it was the only KOF I could play in the local arcade place. I still play KOF MVS titles on my RG351V every now and then. I don't mind 3D as long as the experience is still 2D. I don't play real 3D like Tekken.

          I am PUMPED for tekken 8, even though tekken 7 had heaps of issues for ages lol

            @Jimothy Wongingtons: I found it is hard for me to remember all the special moves for these 3d fighting games, tekken, doa, sb…etc. just personal opinion.

              @kajidzz: I didn’t play tekken 7 for some years actually, went back to it recently because got steam deck, now has ez mode you just press trigger button and it can execute a combo.

              Not as crazy as the ez mode in marvel v cap com 3 lol

          @kajidzz: Everyone has their favs, 2D fighting is a niche for hardcore.

          Didnt rate KOF14, dont know why just felt tired. Designs and music sucked.

          3D is great love to get Virtua Fighter 6 on if they ever make it. Hell id be happy with VF5.

          Tekken 7 is great,cant wait for 8

            @Bid Sniper: Agree, for me I like 2D but I only spend times on KOF, I bought DB fighterZ and GG Xrd but only played couple of hours. As I said, I can't remember all the special moves from the 3d fighting games LOL

    Sorry I haven't play it yet. I have KOF XIV, I didn't play online as I know I would lose, I only play single mode to get achievements and complete the gallery. Rollback netcode was added years ago so I gonna give a try, hope I don't lose in 20s.

    Netcode is decent.
    Matchmaking not so good
    But always happy to play if you want to play

    Matchmaking still sucks unfortunately. But it’s a good KOF game still and the netcode is not bad when you manage to find people nearby.
