What does this give me that I can't already get from Picasa?

A photo edit completed by a professional who understands what needs to be enhanced and how to to do it. Picasa is a editing tool, I don't see how a tool can be compared to a service which is being completed by a human. It's like asking a racing car driver, what can you do that I can't do in my Civic.

'I cant wait to pay someone ten dollars to play with LR sliders and spot heal for a facebook photo' said no one ever.

  • Arghh I hate these "pretend to like us" deals. Although I am wondering what "Exchancing" is (FlashNFunky.com Is Exchancing a $10 Photo Enhancement Service for a Facebook like)?

Is there some sort of risk? :)

I understand your concerns with all the rubbish out there today but i assure you it's legit.

I am using Facebook with a North Social Facebook sweepstake page app to manage the likes and email form. If you google North Social you will see they are pretty popular and safe.

Regarding the contact form I only ask for 3 pieces of information

      1. Name (To identify you with your facebook like)

      2. Email (To send the confirmation email and give you an email you can respond to with the photo you will like enhanced)

      3. An option to receive FlashNFunky promo emails (you don't have to select yes)

There is no computer security issues as this is handled by Facebook and North Social. Once submitted you will receive a thank you email from FlashNfunky which contains no attachments and asks you to respond to the email with an image you will like edited, for larger images not able to be sent there's a link to the FlashNFunky quote form which can store larger files over email.

I will love for a trusted member of OzBargins who is internet and computer savy to take us up on this offer.

Oops, thanks i fixed the typo regarding "Exchanging"

I wasn't implying that anything wasn't legit. The "risk" (with smiley face) was in reference to the "chance" in "Exchancing". And my gripe isn't particularly aimed at your offer, just more generally towards these frequent offers where people are asked to "like" or endorse something before they have a chance to try it.

The Facebook "like" thing should be earned rather than a pre-requisite.

So nothing against your offer, good luck with it. I'll stop now :)

          Agree 100%.

Is this really a bargain ?

Thanks for the feedback jdr and foobar,

I was in two minds regarding the Facebook "like" prerequisite, on one hand I understand that liking a service before receiving the service puts a bit of a damper on an offering, though on the other hand I felt that if I didn't have the prerequisite it's more than likely we will be getting flooded with multiple requests from individual users as many have multiple email addresses thus is theory can request an unlimited amount of Photo Enhancements.

My business strategy for this promotion is to increase my Facebook reach thus this is a Facebook user exclusive deal, not having the prerequisite opens the door for non Facebook users to register and as stated above allows users to request multiple Enhancements.

I'm happy to hear more feedback or suggestions.

      GTFO…. Nah, I am kidding.

I assume that most OzBargain users wouldn't need this 'enhancement' service because we are satisfied with the way we look. Your service is great, but I think you are trying to attract the wrong crowd.

Point your service towards wedding or special occasion portraits and you might have more success. I don't have any experience in your industry, but its just my opinion.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and your opinion.

The Enhancement service also applies to all images (event photos, holidays photos and so on)it's pretty much geared around improving the overall quality of any given photo.

Your right, OzBargains seems to be a tough crowd. Most freebies listed are virtual downloads where users download and + rep to confirm it's still free.

I've had a couple people happy to take up the offer but I will like more. I think prerequisite "like" is scaring most people away as they fear we would run off with their like but not follow through.

I will look to scrap the prerequisite like for the time being and look to back our abilities in earning the like.

        Watch this space.

        • Stop focusing on the Facebook like. What's scaring people away is how desperate you are for someone to like your business on Facebook. Surely you have other plans to develop your business than this childish mission?

        • I'm exploring many different avenues such as print, radio, SEO and Facebook being another. Facebook is a massive medium and any business (especially online based) will be silly not to target it.

  • I have changed the offer with no FaceBook pre like needed… I hope this suits most people.

  • Since this offer is still available, removed expiry. OP, please do not keep re-posting the same deal.
