It says in Australian stores and for this month only. Please refer to the puctures..Saw these at Membership counter in Adelaide Store.
May be good for people considering to join anyways..

  Did this a few months ago and asked a random who was on their way out to "refer" me. Took a few mins to sign up but they were happy to get an easy $10

  Doesn't explicit exclude this, but can you 'refer' an additional family cardholder and ditch your own membership?

  I don't see any issues with it… You should be able to refer your family members without any issues… Similarly you can also cancel your membership at any time..
