        I was in Delhi in late Nov/early Dec and agree the air quality was terrible.
        While it didn't cause me any issues, I wouldn't want to live there or have respiratory issues.

      I booked SYD-SIN flights in Aug-Sep. 11:00 departure from SYD and 20:20 departure from SIN are A380 based on my seat selection

      On my trip a couple months ago they had an A380 on the SIN-DEL leg, but smaller planes on each of the other legs - including the DEL-SIN leg when I came home.

      At the moment A380's Only servicing Singapore -London and Newyork route i think .

      From Australia to Singapore flight radar search shows mostly Airbus A350's and Boeing 747's and 777's.

      And 2nd leg from Singapore to North Indian cities
      Delhi , Bombay , Amritsar, (seviced by Scoot). by Boeing Dreamliners.

      And most South indian cities like Bangalore, Chennai , Kochi and North east Indian airport Kolkata by 'famous ' Boeing 737 MAX.

      And Ahemedabad and one of the BLR service by A350.

      Better fly direct to Delhi with Air India or Delhi /Bangalore with Qantas . (Both services has its own problems) .

      Also currently transiting passengers from Singapore to India need to have a negative RTPCR . (Another $75-150 per person).

        Not sure I understand what you are trying to convey. Also, will need a RTPCR if flying via Singapore to India. That is another $150 per person to be added to the cost of flying via Singapore.

          Flights to Singapore from Australia are on both SQ and Scoot.

          I don't think you will need RTPCR if you are just transiting through Singapore, I guess it's a grey area at the moment.

          SQ does this thing where some cheap tickets they make Scoot as one leg, you might need to check on more expensive deals for that particular day to get SQ

          I just looked at Singapore's website for March - 1 out of 5 options has a Scoot leg, the rest are on SQ. It's possible the exact day you want is booked out somehow, but otherwise I'm not sure why you're only seeing Scoot. (that said, this deal is for flights in Jul-Oct)

      I'm loathe on flying on scoot as well. Customer Service is terrible and paying extra $ for the forward zone seats are the only saving grace.

    Is there a website/search engine that can combine two return tickets from multiple airlines for a single destination. For example if I want to combine a deal like this with another return ticket to istanbul from Delhi, can a website do that? As such it can search and combine for the cheapest prices for syd —> X city return with A airlines and X city to istanbul with B airlines (X city is Delhi for this post).

        are you sure? Either I couldn't get that working or it can't look at two seperate return ticket bookings.

        When I look at individually it can find Syd - Delhi $1001 return with Singapore airlines and Delhi to Istanbul $727 return with Air Astana for 17-31 July. $1728 total.

        However, when I search syd - ist, it doesn't even give the above as an option and cheapest flight it finds is $2,131.

            @abs898: For multicity you need to know the first leg's city.

            Search engine should be smart enough to scan all the options and find the first leg's city. All booking sites that I know of, can look at the options if the airlines for each leg are affiliated but if they are not, like the above example Singapore airlines + air Astana, they can't.

      I saw an ad on Facebook the other day for 10% off Qatar Airways if you book through their app. I think the deal runs another week or so. You could have a stop over in Qatar I spose. I don't know what their prices are like though and I'm sure some people will have a moral objection to anything Qatari but just thought I'd mention it.

    Would it be worth booking directly via Singapore airlines for another 50-100 bucks for the exact same dates as listed above in case there is a need for cancellation etc? In my experience booking directly with the airline works out well in that regard. Anyone else here have experience booking through one of the suggested sites?
