  I have flown Asiana last year to Rome. They are pretty good.

  Just returned to Syd from Rome via Asiana too. Service was top-notch and food was excellent. Planes are dated but very clean. Entertainment leaves a little to be desired and no in flight WiFi etc. Not a problem if you bring your iPad and power bank.

  Free hotel during our stopover in Seoul during our layover - helped make the jet lag so much better.

  I flew return to Rome for around $1.5k during peak periods - much cheaper than your usual Emirates/Singapore etc

  Overall - would fly again just for their bibimbap.

  Tried using the app (website didn't work) to book tickets for an exact date range.

  Total came up to $1.9K/person after discounts and mixed virgin Airlines flights as well, which is $500 more than Singapore airlines, which I believe is the superior airline.

  I might used them for the domestic Korean flights though.

  Asiana is an airline that is about to go extinct with the recent takeover/merge with Korean Air - it will be cool to fly them while you still can.

  I like their long haul business class product, it's completely fine but nothing industry leading. the only 'problem' with it is the colour scheme of the seats/cabin is sooooooo so ugly. I assume they only reason they chose that seat colour/material combination is because the fabric supplier was giving it away free..
