  • Is this locked to Optus? I would guess yes.

  • No Route 66 as per older 6110's? So have to keep paying the Nokia Maps navigation fees… Ouch $100+ per year!

  • wait a minute, 6110 HAVE free navigation.

  • This is a prepaid Optus handset, it is locked to optus's network, also on Dicksmith site the have the same locked version for the same price.

    Turn by turn not included as stated, what this will mean is a yearly subscription to activate where you are either told by a voice on what direction to take and also for it to show you. by default you will only see your location and text details on where to turn.

  • Dick Smith and Tandy are owned by Woolies and the prices are mostly the same, so as SavageSeeker mentions like for like they are the same price

  • Can you add your own software (ie Tomtom) and just use the gps chip in the phone?

    • Did some quick searching and it doesn't look like you can. Route66 is pretty good anyway.
