How does price match affect this?

Assume you don’t get price matched and then $30 off per $300?

    • +2

When I tried double dipping once it didn't work as the price match "code" they use was the same as the discount code.

    • +3

Doubt you'd be able to do it in store, but the link they give you for a price match often allows you to use promo codes. Apparently sometimes they do something to prevent codes from being used with the price matches though, I'm not sure as they always work for me.

    • +1

I am pretty sure it will work online as they give you a special link for the price match and usually promos work on top of that. Just depends whether this promo is online too

    • From my experience, they do price match and on top of this the code can be used, just used it twice in the previous sale as well

@despavr - any upcoming Pixel 7 outright deals coming up? XD Asking for a friend.

Hi, is ithis promotion state wide? Want to buy Bose qc45. Will try to visit jbhifi tomorrow.

    • +1

Just the usual limitations. Apple, Dell, gift cards, phone contracts and game consoles excluded

  • Will this be a one day promo? Also I'm assuming it would be 1 redemption per account?

    • Ends on the 8th, shouldn't be limited for redemption as its not a unique code

  • Now all i need is a great price on the S22 plus… dont think thats going to happen in the next 24h.

    • +1

Better off getting one close to the S23 release for a hopefully better deal.

    • s22 ultra is almost $1000 with tradein on samsung website

  • Do we get $300 off on a $3000 tv or just $30? Deal description says “$30 off every $300 spent”.

    • +1

Title says 30 off minimum 300. So you'll still get $30 off your tv.

    • +10

You can also stack the $30 off $300 spend on top of the current TCN gift card promo from Woolies

      It’s a win-win in my books

Until such time as you get around to posting your first deal, your opinion on what constitutes as a deal is a mute one.

      • your opinion … mute one

… seems like their voice was heard..

    • -1

@seabass Ozbargain is not the same as it once was. also it's 10pc fo 300 after that diminishes

  • +2

Reminder - This is still on at Officeworks website so anyone interested should be able to price match.

I did twice in the past month or so when JB had similar promotions - once in store and once online, with no issues.

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/wd-element…

    • So like this price matched plus a small item to take it over $300 would then allow the coupon to be used you mean?

      • Pretty much yes.

  • massive kudos to OP for formatting their first post properly after only 4 months on the site, i see people who've had an account and have been active for years make first deal posts riddled with spelling mistakes and prices and stores missing from the title etc ….

    • -2

      It's just three short paragraphs?

      • -3

you'd be surprised at what people have trouble with. its the title in particular im talking about

        • +2

its the title in particular im talking about

          It is?…

        • +1

It's really not that big a deal mate. I've found most title errors are fixed fairly quickly by either the OP or mod.

First posts it can be hard to know the correct syntax. Which leads to things like missing store, prices etc.

But new posters gotta start somewhere right?

If the same posters are still giving mods extra work after their first dozen, that's a different issue..

        • +11

I don’t respect this toxic culture of so many people just over correcting each other… Slightest of errors and online trolls pounce on the op, slamming dislikes etc

In most cases, the post despite its imperfections does its job of conveying the intended message but for some that’s just not enough..
And these weasel like bully manoeuvres only discourage the shy one’s from posting here, I am sure there’s been great deals that we have all missed out on because some user couldn’t be bothered with dealing with the trolls so he/she decided against posting that great deal.

Could you share if some phones come on sale tomorrow?

  • Can I get this discount for a phone fork JB hifi on one of their Telstra plans?

  • Any tips on a tablet for mainly streaming and to be used by kids?

  • -2

Is it essentially 10% off on eligible purchases above $300?

    • +7

I read it as a flat $30 off, whether you spend $300.01 or $300,000.01.

      • It says 30 off every $300 spent
If i purchase $3000 tv wouldn’t that make 10*300 spent
Edit: someone just changed it to minimum $300 spent, then maybe its max $30 off

      • Yep that's correct, I just tried adding a TV to Cart.
$1685 Sony only got $30 off.

        • Same here, checked just now. Only $30 off, not $30 for every $300 spend.

    • Over the last 4 or 5 years my two girls have only had 2 tablets each both samsung wifi only. Never had a broken or cracked screen, easy for them to navigate, easy for me to keep an eye on them. In saying that, I've not used any other brand so can't give a preference comparison but overall they've been great tablets.
