We have the basic model from a few years ago and it’s been fine, might be a case of a rough user, I think for the occasional cake or whatever it’s great, tempted to buy another at this price just for the heat feature.
Have used this for 2 years now
.good product.
Have used dough hooks couple of times. Maybe something changed recently I supposeMaybe a hook will break on the third try
They should skip the third try and go directly to fourth.
My Mum still has her Mixmaster after 60 odd years, wedding present. Still uses it weekly, made by Cooper Engineering in Sydney (Sunbeam).
Wonder if this will last that long.
Not a chance at least not the accessories…
Mixmaster sounds like something people used to DJ in the 1980's.
Lol Jive Bunny!
Oh wow, I forgot about Jive Bunny!!
@kiriakoz: So did I. I thought that’s what you were referring to!
I can't let go of my general electric 80's orange and brown, egg beater. So retro and cool.
Got this for my daughter and the beater at weld points have broken… Replacements are about half this price and no garauntee they'll last which is disappointing, other than that the mixer itself is very good.
Coming up as $81 for me.
The review mentioning the dough hooks breaking easily due to a weak joint is concerning.
