My old TV died & I've been on the lookout for a new one & found a really great deal on the Hisense 58" A6 Series (58A6HAU) today & thought I might share.
Breakdown of the tv specs which made me choose it:
- 4K
- 58"
- Vesa Mountable
- Isn't Android but can be Chromecast to
- AI upscales lower resolution footage to 4k
- The reviews are pretty good all around
- 3-year warranty (most others in this price range e.g Aldi, Kogan etc have only 12 months..I always find that super telling of quality you'll get)
and of course, that leads me into the price…
Price-matching breakdown
RRP is $895 but it's on sale for $595 pretty much everywhere (I'm unsure when that sale will finish but I suspect they're trying to get rid of the tv's as they have 2022 World Cup promo all over the boxes).
I got the Good Guys to price-match Appliance Central at $580 which they were able to do & actually beat at $565.
The Good Guys also has an Earn Store Cash program which gives back $50 of in-store credit in this case ($50 after spending $400-$849) after purchasing which can be used on future items at the store (needs to be setup prior to purchasing).
Pretty much after all that the tv was technically $515 which I'm pretty happy with.
I hope this helps
58” is a strange size. Didn’t even know TV’s came in this size
